Sad.

Sad last days

by Anonymousreply 1March 15, 2022 6:11 PM

Can he be prosicuted if he cant remember what he did to our little Aaron?

by Anonymousreply 2March 15, 2022 6:12 PM

Did he catch it from Courtney Cox?

by Anonymousreply 3March 15, 2022 6:13 PM

^^ prosecuted

by Anonymousreply 4March 15, 2022 6:14 PM

I forgot about him years ago.

by Anonymousreply 5March 15, 2022 6:17 PM

My inquiring gay mind wants to know- Was he a CONNOISSEUR of cock?

by Anonymousreply 6March 15, 2022 6:18 PM

A reminder to other celebrities to stay away from the evil stuff! Just look at all the other hotties discussed here on this forum. So many are druggies or alcoholics. They will all become dementiahumans in 20-30 years. SAD

'reportedly' meaning it could be easily made up, reported and never verified.

by Anonymousreply 8March 15, 2022 6:18 PM

He may not have dementia. Some people start having memory problems at a certain age and none of the other cognitive decline.

He has been doing mostly crap movies for a while. It's a shame, he was really sexy and charismatic in the 80s and early 90s. He became more of jerk as time passed too.

by Anonymousreply 9March 15, 2022 6:23 PM

"Battling" - MARY!

by Anonymousreply 10March 15, 2022 6:23 PM

When he did Misery on broadway a few seasons back he reportedly had trouble with his lines and started wearing an ear piece so he could be fed lines if necessary.

by Anonymousreply 11March 15, 2022 6:24 PM

[quote]My inquiring gay mind wants to know- Was he a CONNOISSEUR of cock?

He can't remember!

by Anonymousreply 12March 15, 2022 6:30 PM

Did he get the covid, too?

by Anonymousreply 13March 15, 2022 6:36 PM

The first rumors were a year ago, if I recall. I think the rumors get triggered every time another one of his shitty movies is released.

by Anonymousreply 14March 15, 2022 6:40 PM

Doesn't he have enough money?

by Anonymousreply 15March 15, 2022 6:42 PM

I'm starting to think I have dementia too. But I take ambien and ativan and benadryl, so being a pill head could be the problem.

by Anonymousreply 16March 15, 2022 6:44 PM

Or could it be that he’s just greedy.

by Anonymousreply 17March 15, 2022 7:03 PM

Him having to be fed the lines in the Misery broadway play was back in 2015, so this has been going on for a while. If it was dementia, he would be having other significant cognitive problems by this point. Certain meds can cause memory issues too, so that is also a possibility.

We'll see if he drops out of the public spotlight in the next few years. Then we might have an idea he has something really bad going on.

by Anonymousreply 18March 15, 2022 7:05 PM

Wow...at 66!

by Anonymousreply 19March 15, 2022 9:16 PM

Matt Eskandari, who directed several recent Willis films including Hard Kill, Survive the Night and Trauma Center, chimed into the comments section of the video to address the memory loss rumours.

“I read somewhere that Bruce Willis has dementia, that’s he’s not really aware of what’s going on around him,” one user wrote.

Eskandari replied, “Yes this is true my guy I directed four movies with him so I know first hand. It’s (a) sad situation seeing a legend like Bruce deteriorating right in front of your eyes. I saw it while working with him (the) last few years.”

Replying to another user who said Willis had “fallen from grace” after working with directors like Quentin Tarantino, Brian De Palma and Wes Anderson, Eskandari wrote bluntly, “He has dementia.”

by Anonymousreply 20March 16, 2022 3:14 AM

He has young daughters with his current wife. Sad.

by Anonymousreply 21March 16, 2022 3:29 AM

"Wow...at 66!"

Poor David Cassidy had dementia and DIED at the age of 67! Very sad.

by Anonymousreply 22March 16, 2022 3:30 AM

Dementia? Is that another one of his daughters?

by Anonymousreply 23March 16, 2022 3:30 AM

R22, didn’t reports of David Cassidy’s dementia prove to be untrue?

by Anonymousreply 24March 16, 2022 3:43 AM

Will Aaron nurse him back to health?

by Anonymousreply 25March 16, 2022 3:54 AM

Well, that explains the loss of his humorous edge.

by Anonymousreply 26March 16, 2022 3:55 AM

He is selling his Turks and Caicos Estate.

by Anonymousreply 29March 16, 2022 4:07 AM

The Pfizer vaccines can cause cardiac events, stroke and rapid onset dementia. Not often - but a proven risk.

by Anonymousreply 30March 16, 2022 4:12 AM

Luckily he'll be able to forget most of his career, we have

by Anonymousreply 31March 16, 2022 4:17 AM

by Anonymousreply 33March 16, 2022 4:20 AM

What’s a jaw?!

by Anonymousreply 34March 16, 2022 4:38 AM

We would have a hard time explaining the concept to you, Miss Dorothy Kilgallen at r34.

by Anonymousreply 35March 16, 2022 4:47 AM

If Rumor Willis had only shared her jaw with Dorthy Kilgallen... Think of the possibilities

by Anonymousreply 36March 16, 2022 4:52 AM

r31 r33 r35 r36

by Anonymousreply 37March 16, 2022 12:38 PM

What causes dementia? Is it genetics or can be acquired by anyone? Can it be prevented?

by Anonymousreply 38March 16, 2022 12:44 PM

Yes, Rose, be sure to drink lots of water.

by Anonymousreply 39March 16, 2022 12:48 PM

Wasn't he amateur boxer when young or am I remembering, heh, wrong?

by Anonymousreply 40March 16, 2022 12:49 PM

[quote]"For the past 20 years, we've made so many beautiful memories on the island,"

Or so I’m told.

by Anonymousreply 41March 16, 2022 12:56 PM

by Anonymousreply 42March 16, 2022 1:37 PM

Who?

by Anonymousreply 43March 16, 2022 1:39 PM

@r42, I think it was, "Color of Money", but I saw it and you're right

by Anonymousreply 44March 16, 2022 1:57 PM

r44

by Anonymousreply 45March 16, 2022 3:06 PM

It's quite bizarre that they're branding 66 as "early onset".

by Anonymousreply 46March 16, 2022 3:19 PM

Someone in datalounge once said, "If you lose the remote in the fridge, that's not dementia, but if you try to eat the remote, it is". It comforts me

by Anonymousreply 47March 16, 2022 3:21 PM

I never liked him, but I wouldn't wish this disease on my worst enemy. It is horrifying to witness a loved one going through it. You cannot imagine the hell of dealing with all that comes with it and I admit to hating those who use it as a way to mock someone, esp., those who are so invested in their political ideology that they use it as insult towards either Biden or Trump. If you knew someone with the disease, you wouldn't be an asshole who used it as a way to score incredibly cheap political points.

by Anonymousreply 48March 16, 2022 3:24 PM

This rumor has been around for several years. Some said it was brought on by his years of excessive cocaine use.

by Anonymousreply 49March 16, 2022 3:28 PM

It's 7 AM. Where am I?

by Anonymousreply 50March 16, 2022 3:32 PM

Do you think you're the only one who has dealt with this? My father died of dementia--he fell one night while wandering and hit his head while in the memory care unit, and died of the subsequent hemorrhage.

Simmer down, Miss Ophelia Offended. We make fun of everything here.

by Anonymousreply 52March 16, 2022 3:50 PM

[quote] It's quite bizarre that they're branding 66 as "early onset".

"When Alzheimer disease occurs in someone under age 65, it is known as early-onset (or younger-onset) Alzheimer disease." As has been noted, it's believed that Willis, although now 66, has been afflicted for some time now.

If the plan is to churn out tons of content and turn that into $$$$, maybe he should consider doing an OnlyFans account. He could really turn the world upside down by doing revealing content with other guys, in addition to women. Doing collaborations with the elite OF male hottie will bring in the bucks and millions and millions of clicks.

by Anonymousreply 54March 16, 2022 3:59 PM

I knew a guy who was diagnosed around 40 and institutionalized by 45. Awful.

by Anonymousreply 55March 16, 2022 4:05 PM

That's probably why he made all those awful movies. Putting money in the bank for LTC and his family.

The Razzies should really scratch that Bruce Willis category this year - feels like punching down.

by Anonymousreply 56March 16, 2022 4:10 PM

Muriel, can we fucking nuke this bitch that posts all this stupid, uncited nonsense?

by Anonymousreply 57March 16, 2022 4:13 PM

this will be the trajectory for most DLers within the next 2-3 years.

by Anonymousreply 58March 16, 2022 4:19 PM

It’s not uncited, r57, OP actually provided a link. True, it’s a rumor, but DL would be very empty if we nuked all threads that were rumors.

by Anonymousreply 59March 16, 2022 4:25 PM

^It's very empty anyhow, but I like it this way.

by Anonymousreply 60March 16, 2022 4:41 PM

I had an aunt who had Alzheimer's in her early 50s. It was a long time ago...and I don't think she made it to age 60. It's a terrible disease.

by Anonymousreply 61March 16, 2022 4:53 PM

"It's quite bizarre that they're branding 66 as "early onset".

Not if you're 67 :(

by Anonymousreply 62March 16, 2022 4:54 PM

Remember when he forget he was a ghost in Sixth Sense?

by Anonymousreply 63March 16, 2022 5:05 PM

R46 I thought early onset was below 65 which would be the case for Bruce since they said he had problems since 2015.

But this is how the National Institute on Aging describes it:

For most people with Alzheimer’s—those who have the late-onset variety—symptoms first appear in their mid-60s. Signs of early-onset Alzheimer’s begin between a person’s 30s and mid-60s.

"This rumor has been around for several years. Some said it was brought on by his years of excessive cocaine use. "

Ruh-roh... I think

by Anonymousreply 68March 16, 2022 5:18 PM

Oh, please.

Dementia runs in my family and we’re all fine. A little ginkgo — wait, what were we talking about again?

Oh, that’s right, that Tricia Nixon gal looked darling at her wedding the other day. I didn’t like her dress though. It looked like it was made of toilet paper rolls. Sophia wouldn’t have approved of that.

by Anonymousreply 69March 16, 2022 5:18 PM

My dad who is 94 is just starting, but his doctor gave him some pills that slows down the process, so we'll see. It's weird he remembers everything that happened before 1949 and not much after

by Anonymousreply 70March 16, 2022 6:42 PM

He looks a little out of it here.

by Anonymousreply 71March 16, 2022 7:08 PM

R27 He owns roaches?

by Anonymousreply 72March 17, 2022 8:58 AM

Yeah, the talk seems to be that he s doing all these B movies to make bank while he can. I read a couple of people who did food and craft services comment that he would come in for a day or two and be shuttled around to shoot all his scenes in as little time as possible. Everything would be set and ready and the crew was completely focused on him.

His pay is a considerable part of the films budget. So yeah, I don’t blame him. Seven figures for a days work? I would do that if I was him with or without the dementia.

by Anonymousreply 73March 17, 2022 11:07 AM

He did seem a bit out of it at the roast. More frail or something.

by Anonymousreply 74March 19, 2022 7:45 AM

by Anonymousreply 76March 19, 2022 7:51 AM

Aaron can always get revenge by tricking his way into Bruce's will or stop by with a duffel bag while disguised as Demi Moore and clean him out.

by Anonymousreply 77March 19, 2022 7:57 AM

R75 He doesn’t look a day under 78.

by Anonymousreply 78March 19, 2022 8:00 AM

An expert in the field told me years ago that this condition, alzheimers and dementia can all be stalled or drastically slowed if caught early enough but the problem is the people affected get very good at hiding their symptoms so they don't get help (usually only when their loved ones finally catch on) until it's far too late.

How sad. He could have afforded the very best, cutting edge treatment. It shouldn't have turned out this way.

by Anonymousreply 79March 19, 2022 9:22 AM

I think he was originally up for the Aidan Quinn role in Desperately Seeking Susan opposite Madonna back in the day.. I liked him in Moonlighting TV series, Die Hard, Sixth Sense, and other films. Too bad about his health, I hope he's being well taken care of by those who love him...

by Anonymousreply 80March 19, 2022 10:14 AM

Is he punchy?

by Anonymousreply 81March 19, 2022 10:24 AM

Paunchy. And flaccid.

by Anonymousreply 82March 19, 2022 10:27 AM

I had never heard that Bruce Willis bought Aaron Carter $1M worth of gifts. That's odd.

by Anonymousreply 83March 19, 2022 10:43 AM

I wonder how far back it started. I can remember Kevin Smith talking about what an asshole he was (never named directly, but it was clear who Smith was talking about) on the set of Cop Out. Smith eventually went to the studio, and they had a talking to with Willis telling him to knock it off, or he'd never work for them again.

That movie is shit, don't get me wrong.

by Anonymousreply 84March 19, 2022 10:45 AM

I thought it was just a rolls royce

by Anonymousreply 85March 19, 2022 11:38 AM

by Anonymousreply 86March 19, 2022 1:40 PM

So THAT explains the Republicanism.

by Anonymousreply 87March 19, 2022 1:42 PM

If he’s really that bad off, I would have expected Demi Moore to make it all about herself by now.

by Anonymousreply 88March 19, 2022 1:48 PM

Holy, Demi looks like Ozzy Osbourne in that one pic.

by Anonymousreply 89March 19, 2022 1:52 PM

This.

by Anonymousreply 90March 19, 2022 1:59 PM

According to a book written by a friend’s cousin’s sister’s husband’s friend, it says “being an asshole hijacks the memory”

by Anonymousreply 91March 19, 2022 2:19 PM

“The Die Hard star’s health has been the subject of renewed speculation online in recent weeks, as fans question the 66-year-old’s appearance in dozens of low-budget, critically panned films.”

Early onset dementia needs to be diagnosed because right now he could be just a 66 year old man having senior moments.

As far as his choices in film projects, third acts are littered with poor choices. Not everyone can transition into Clint Eastwood.

Plus, Willis’s ego is too big for him to do tight little thrillers like Liam Nelson or Denzel Washington or even Mel Gibson. He has never been a team player. These productions probably blow 50% of their budgets on his fee and treat him like a superstar on set. That is more important to him than quality and you’re not going to get a good product with a shitty director and writer.

by Anonymousreply 92March 19, 2022 2:21 PM

Besides his 3 grown daughters he has 2 other daughters with his current wife. They turn 10 and 8 this year.

by Anonymousreply 93March 19, 2022 9:45 PM

He just doesn’t remember who turns 10 and who turns 8.

Or their names. Or who they are.

by Anonymousreply 94March 19, 2022 9:49 PM

Are the two younger girls relatively humanoid looking, unlike the three older ones?

by Anonymousreply 95March 19, 2022 9:56 PM

Years of cocaine abuse will do it, too.

by Anonymousreply 99March 20, 2022 6:42 AM

Demi actually looks good there. She needs to ditch the extensions, though.

It is weird that they seem to enjoy each other's company so much. If so, why the divorce?

by Anonymousreply 100March 20, 2022 8:28 AM

They enjoy each other's company BECAUSE they aren't married anymore.

by Anonymousreply 101March 20, 2022 8:46 AM

Just like DL to skip over the part where he was sober for over 20 years, and then he relapsed and it's been all downhill since.

by Anonymousreply 102March 20, 2022 10:12 AM

My dad started showing signs of dementia around 60. It's a terrible disease, especially when it happens to someone so young. Very sorry if Bruce Willis is battling this.

So, there is a poster in this thread using at least one other account.

The poster who wrote "Aaron can always get revenge by tricking his way into Bruce's will or stop by with a duffel bag while disguised as Demi Moore and clean him out" went into the "Do I have a stalker and need to file for a restraining order?" thread and annoyingly made one of those posts with a few R#'s to check the comments of people she placed on her Ignore List.

It turns out, under a different account, she did the same thing in this thread. She's the one who did did "r31 r33 r35 r36" and "r44." All of her posts on my Ignore list are the same types of posts except one: "Greg and Cinesnatch go back to Russia."
