A reminder to other celebrities to stay away from the evil stuff! Just look at all the other hotties discussed here on this forum. So many are druggies or alcoholics. They will all become dementiahumans in 20-30 years. SAD
by Anonymous | reply 7 | March 15, 2022 6:18 PM |
'reportedly' meaning it could be easily made up, reported and never verified.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | March 15, 2022 6:18 PM |
He may not have dementia. Some people start having memory problems at a certain age and none of the other cognitive decline.
He has been doing mostly crap movies for a while. It's a shame, he was really sexy and charismatic in the 80s and early 90s. He became more of jerk as time passed too.

Did he get the covid, too?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | March 15, 2022 6:36 PM |
The first rumors were a year ago, if I recall. I think the rumors get triggered every time another one of his shitty movies is released.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | March 15, 2022 6:40 PM |
Doesn't he have enough money?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | March 15, 2022 6:42 PM |
I'm starting to think I have dementia too. But I take ambien and ativan and benadryl, so being a pill head could be the problem.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | March 15, 2022 6:44 PM |
Or could it be that he’s just greedy.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | March 15, 2022 7:03 PM |
Him having to be fed the lines in the Misery broadway play was back in 2015, so this has been going on for a while. If it was dementia, he would be having other significant cognitive problems by this point. Certain meds can cause memory issues too, so that is also a possibility.
We'll see if he drops out of the public spotlight in the next few years. Then we might have an idea he has something really bad going on.

Wow...at 66!
by Anonymous | reply 19 | March 15, 2022 9:16 PM |
Matt Eskandari, who directed several recent Willis films including Hard Kill, Survive the Night and Trauma Center, chimed into the comments section of the video to address the memory loss rumours.
“I read somewhere that Bruce Willis has dementia, that’s he’s not really aware of what’s going on around him,” one user wrote.
Eskandari replied, “Yes this is true my guy I directed four movies with him so I know first hand. It’s (a) sad situation seeing a legend like Bruce deteriorating right in front of your eyes. I saw it while working with him (the) last few years.”
Replying to another user who said Willis had “fallen from grace” after working with directors like Quentin Tarantino, Brian De Palma and Wes Anderson, Eskandari wrote bluntly, “He has dementia.”

I never liked him, but I wouldn't wish this disease on my worst enemy. It is horrifying to witness a loved one going through it. You cannot imagine the hell of dealing with all that comes with it and I admit to hating those who use it as a way to mock someone, esp., those who are so invested in their political ideology that they use it as insult towards either Biden or Trump. If you knew someone with the disease, you wouldn't be an asshole who used it as a way to score incredibly cheap political points.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | March 16, 2022 3:24 PM |
This rumor has been around for several years. Some said it was brought on by his years of excessive cocaine use.

Do you think you're the only one who has dealt with this? My father died of dementia--he fell one night while wandering and hit his head while in the memory care unit, and died of the subsequent hemorrhage.
Simmer down, Miss Ophelia Offended. We make fun of everything here.

[quote] It's quite bizarre that they're branding 66 as "early onset".
"When Alzheimer disease occurs in someone under age 65, it is known as early-onset (or younger-onset) Alzheimer disease." As has been noted, it's believed that Willis, although now 66, has been afflicted for some time now.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | March 16, 2022 3:59 PM |
If the plan is to churn out tons of content and turn that into $$$$, maybe he should consider doing an OnlyFans account. He could really turn the world upside down by doing revealing content with other guys, in addition to women. Doing collaborations with the elite OF male hottie will bring in the bucks and millions and millions of clicks.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | March 16, 2022 3:59 PM |
I knew a guy who was diagnosed around 40 and institutionalized by 45. Awful.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | March 16, 2022 4:05 PM |
That's probably why he made all those awful movies. Putting money in the bank for LTC and his family.
The Razzies should really scratch that Bruce Willis category this year - feels like punching down.

by Anonymous | reply 63 | March 16, 2022 5:05 PM |
R46 I thought early onset was below 65 which would be the case for Bruce since they said he had problems since 2015.
But this is how the National Institute on Aging describes it:
For most people with Alzheimer’s—those who have the late-onset variety—symptoms first appear in their mid-60s. Signs of early-onset Alzheimer’s begin between a person’s 30s and mid-60s.

Dementia runs in my family and we’re all fine. A little ginkgo — wait, what were we talking about again?
Oh, that’s right, that Tricia Nixon gal looked darling at her wedding the other day. I didn’t like her dress though. It looked like it was made of toilet paper rolls. Sophia wouldn’t have approved of that.

R27 He owns roaches?
by Anonymous | reply 72 | March 17, 2022 8:58 AM |
Yeah, the talk seems to be that he s doing all these B movies to make bank while he can. I read a couple of people who did food and craft services comment that he would come in for a day or two and be shuttled around to shoot all his scenes in as little time as possible. Everything would be set and ready and the crew was completely focused on him.
His pay is a considerable part of the films budget. So yeah, I don’t blame him. Seven figures for a days work? I would do that if I was him with or without the dementia.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | March 17, 2022 11:07 AM |
He did seem a bit out of it at the roast. More frail or something.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | March 19, 2022 7:45 AM |
Aaron can always get revenge by tricking his way into Bruce's will or stop by with a duffel bag while disguised as Demi Moore and clean him out.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | March 19, 2022 7:57 AM |
R75 He doesn’t look a day under 78.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | March 19, 2022 8:00 AM |
An expert in the field told me years ago that this condition, alzheimers and dementia can all be stalled or drastically slowed if caught early enough but the problem is the people affected get very good at hiding their symptoms so they don't get help (usually only when their loved ones finally catch on) until it's far too late.
How sad. He could have afforded the very best, cutting edge treatment. It shouldn't have turned out this way.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | March 19, 2022 9:22 AM |
I think he was originally up for the Aidan Quinn role in Desperately Seeking Susan opposite Madonna back in the day.. I liked him in Moonlighting TV series, Die Hard, Sixth Sense, and other films. Too bad about his health, I hope he's being well taken care of by those who love him...
by Anonymous | reply 80 | March 19, 2022 10:14 AM |

I wonder how far back it started. I can remember Kevin Smith talking about what an asshole he was (never named directly, but it was clear who Smith was talking about) on the set of Cop Out. Smith eventually went to the studio, and they had a talking to with Willis telling him to knock it off, or he'd never work for them again.
That movie is shit, don't get me wrong.

“The Die Hard star’s health has been the subject of renewed speculation online in recent weeks, as fans question the 66-year-old’s appearance in dozens of low-budget, critically panned films.”
Early onset dementia needs to be diagnosed because right now he could be just a 66 year old man having senior moments.
As far as his choices in film projects, third acts are littered with poor choices. Not everyone can transition into Clint Eastwood.
Plus, Willis’s ego is too big for him to do tight little thrillers like Liam Nelson or Denzel Washington or even Mel Gibson. He has never been a team player. These productions probably blow 50% of their budgets on his fee and treat him like a superstar on set. That is more important to him than quality and you’re not going to get a good product with a shitty director and writer.

So, there is a poster in this thread using at least one other account.
The poster who wrote "Aaron can always get revenge by tricking his way into Bruce's will or stop by with a duffel bag while disguised as Demi Moore and clean him out" went into the "Do I have a stalker and need to file for a restraining order?" thread and annoyingly made one of those posts with a few R#'s to check the comments of people she placed on her Ignore List.
It turns out, under a different account, she did the same thing in this thread. She's the one who did did "r31 r33 r35 r36" and "r44." All of her posts on my Ignore list are the same types of posts except one: "Greg and Cinesnatch go back to Russia."
