TCM's 31 Days of Oscar

What movies have you watched in this "Oscar Fest" so far?

This past weekend, I've watched Cleopatra, Arthur, Victor/Victoria, Fame, and now Good Will Hunting.

I never realized what absolute overly dramatic over-rated CRAP Good Will Hunting was. Plus, I can't stand Matt Damon.

I liked Cleopatra, but it was way too long.

So what have you watched?

Grand Hotel and Mildred Pierce

by Anonymousreply 1March 14, 2022 4:02 AM

When was Mildred Pierce on, R1?

I can't believe I missed it.

Another movie shown earlier today was Sense and Sensibility.

by Anonymousreply 2March 14, 2022 4:09 AM

I watched The Longest Day. Honestly they show these classics all the time the rest of the year so I’m not ready to rewatch any.

by Anonymousreply 3March 14, 2022 9:19 AM

"Wings"...never saw it before...loved it

by Anonymousreply 4March 14, 2022 9:59 AM

Cold Mountain was on yesterday, but I didn't watch it.

The thought of watching Jude Law and Nicole Kidman together in a war movie, sounded like torture.

by Anonymousreply 5March 14, 2022 3:36 PM

Nothing good coming up in the next two days.

Maybe National Velvet, but I don't think it won an Oscar.

by Anonymousreply 6March 14, 2022 10:23 PM

R4, agree! I really enjoyed “Wings.” Gary Cooper’s brief scene shows why he became such a big star.

by Anonymousreply 7March 14, 2022 10:31 PM

"Dodsworth" was on today -- 1936. Walter Huston and Mary Astor are 2 of my favorites, so this is always a treat.

by Anonymousreply 8March 15, 2022 12:28 AM

I call it TCM's "31 Days of Boredom". Movies you've seen a dozen times already all month long.

by Anonymousreply 9March 15, 2022 2:26 AM

[quote] Movies you've seen a dozen times already all month long.

Classic movies?

by Anonymousreply 10March 15, 2022 2:27 AM

Good call, R5: "Cold Mountain" was torture.

by Anonymousreply 11March 15, 2022 2:33 AM

I watching my DVR recording of Cold Mountain to laugh at the accents.

by Anonymousreply 12March 15, 2022 2:43 AM

Sense and Sensibility was on yesterday. Loved it then, love it now. Everyone in it is perfect in their roles.

by Anonymousreply 13March 15, 2022 2:47 AM

I don’t have cable. I just watch on HBO Max.

by Anonymousreply 14March 15, 2022 2:54 AM

I DVR'd Marty and Rashomon.

by Anonymousreply 15March 17, 2022 8:28 PM

Mon Oncle, Two Women, Wings, Z...that I can remember off the top of my head. There are more...

by Anonymousreply 16March 17, 2022 9:22 PM

True, R9...not my favorite month on TCM.

by Anonymousreply 17March 17, 2022 9:23 PM

And it pre-empts "Noir Alley" on Sat nights and Sun mornings -- sacrilege!

by Anonymousreply 18March 17, 2022 9:29 PM

For R2: Mildred Pierce is on Sunday 3/20 @ 2pm.

by Anonymousreply 19March 17, 2022 9:48 PM

I saw that, R19!

I will be there with my popcorn and bloody mary!

by Anonymousreply 20March 17, 2022 10:56 PM

Oliver! (1968) is on right now.

Anyone watching?

by Anonymousreply 21March 18, 2022 3:43 AM

^ I am. Fagin is creepy as fuck.

by Anonymousreply 22March 18, 2022 3:47 AM

[quote] Fagin is creepy as fuck.

Fag!

by Anonymousreply 23March 18, 2022 3:52 AM

Last weekend I watched The Paper Chase. Not a great movie but nostalgic for me. The weekend before I watched The French Connection which I never saw before. The suspense of the chase scenes (all of them) gave me tachycardia but they were sooo good!

by Anonymousreply 24March 18, 2022 4:33 AM

Oh! Also watched Klute which I hadn't seen for years. A decent film all around. Love Fonda's styling and her therapy sessions. Also the model casting session.

by Anonymousreply 25March 18, 2022 4:35 AM

Camelot is on after Oliver!

The best part about Camelot was the music.

by Anonymousreply 26March 18, 2022 4:45 AM

[quote]The best part about Camelot was the music.

Sorry, but that made me chuckle, r26.

by Anonymousreply 27March 18, 2022 5:02 AM

Not all musicals are good musicals, R27.

Oliver! is a horrible musical. I'm not sure how it won the Best Picture Oscar for 1968.

by Anonymousreply 28March 18, 2022 5:06 AM

[quote]Not all musicals are good musicals

NO musicals are good if the music is bad.

by Anonymousreply 29March 18, 2022 5:13 AM

I watched Dr. Zhivago last night. I haven't seen it in many years. It is so much better on the big screen.

by Anonymousreply 30March 18, 2022 5:29 AM

I loved the run of foreign language films - 8 1/2, Mon Oncle, Z, Two Women and Rashomon. And I agree about Wings, fantastic. But my favorite new-to-me movie was The More the Merrier with Jean Arthur. Funny set up, funny situations, funny actors. A rare comedy that garnered (and earned) lots of Oscar nominations.

by Anonymousreply 31March 18, 2022 9:32 AM

Dr. Zhivago is shown a lot on TCM. I enjoyed Two Women. Loren is breathtaking and the story of the struggles in Italy during WWII. I like foreign films...but sometimes, reading the subtitles takes away from the movie...for me.

by Anonymousreply 32March 18, 2022 11:06 AM

Yes R31

“The More the Merrier” is a real gem.

Was remade in the 60s as “Walk, Don’t Run” with Cary Grant, Samantha Egar and Jim Hutton” - but the original is best.

by Anonymousreply 33March 18, 2022 11:10 AM

Shampoo is on tonight.

by Anonymousreply 34March 18, 2022 1:11 PM

I am trying to watch every Best Picture Winner. Have about 14 movies to go. Recently watched, All Quiet on the Western Front, How Green Was My Valley and Mrs. Miniver. All were VERY good movies. Cimmaron was not. Next up is the Lost Weekend.

by Anonymousreply 35March 18, 2022 1:48 PM

Ive recorded Closely Watched Trains, Tgrough a Glass Darkly, Wuthering Heights, The Dark Angel (Lillian Hellman was one of the scriptwriters), The Divorcee, Lost Horizon, Cold Mountain, Klute, A Man for all Seasons, Wings, Cries and Whispers, Never on Sunday, Room at the Top, La Ceremonie. I’ve got lots of films recorded but I’ve watched Dodsworth and Dangerous. I’ve got Day for Night scheduled to record and can’t wait to see it again. This will be my second viewing. I’ve also recorded Z. That’s a great political thriller. I want to see Cries and Whispers. The movie played in our suburban multiplex in 1972 and I saw it there. Couldn’t believe I got the chance.

by Anonymousreply 36March 18, 2022 1:50 PM

Aw shucks...I just missed Butterfiies Are Free...

by Anonymousreply 37March 18, 2022 2:00 PM

[quote]Cold Mountain was on yesterday, but I didn't watch it.

I loved the book, but the movie has not aged well. The accents are *terrible* and Renee Z's hammy sidekick routine was just cringe inducing. Hard to believe, but then unknown Charlie Hunnam was in that movie (I could never figure out why the albino didn't have to fight - was it because the army of General Lee couldn't stand extremely white people either?).

Loved Sense & Sensibility. Emma Thompson has become so insufferable in recent years it's hard to remember a time when she was so charming. Likewise, I liked Alan Rickman as the unconventional (and kind of odd) Brandon.

by Anonymousreply 38March 18, 2022 2:15 PM

Shampoo is on tonight.

I just read the TCM synopsis on this movie, and I had no idea that it was about two lesbians (one of them being Goldie Hawn!) trying to play around with a hairdresser (Warren Beatty!).

Is Warren's character supposed to be gay, too?

by Anonymousreply 39March 18, 2022 4:07 PM

^ No, he plays a straight pussyhound.

by Anonymousreply 40March 18, 2022 4:17 PM

The thought of watching a movie or show being broadcast on TV at a specific time seems so strange to me now, and I’m an eldergay. If you subscribe to HBO, you get HBO Max for free, and, wallah, you can watch your choice at any time.

by Anonymousreply 41March 18, 2022 4:38 PM

R39 No Warren's character was based on one of the big hairstylists of the time who was a big womanizer but I forgot which famous hairstylist it was.

by Anonymousreply 42March 18, 2022 4:50 PM

Jon Peters?

by Anonymousreply 43March 18, 2022 5:01 PM

Oh, thank you R43. I kept picturing him but couldn't remember his name. Old Age.

by Anonymousreply 44March 18, 2022 5:24 PM

My pleasure.... :)

by Anonymousreply 45March 18, 2022 5:35 PM

All Quiet on the Western Front actually blew my mind. For some reason I thought it was a Western all these years and avoided it. How dumb! It is fantastic! I also used to confused it with On the Waterfront for some reason. Lol.

by Anonymousreply 46March 19, 2022 9:17 PM

I thought the hairdresser Shampoo was based on was Jay Sebring.

by Anonymousreply 47March 19, 2022 9:47 PM

The upcoming showing of THE MIRACLE WORKER ❤️👍

by Anonymousreply 48March 19, 2022 9:58 PM

Today there's a shitload of Oscar movies on TCM.

Gandhi, Out of Africa (Meryl Streep), On Golden Pond (Henry Fonda), Places in the Heart (Sally Field), and A Fish Called Wanda (Kevin Kline).

All one after another.

by Anonymousreply 49March 19, 2022 11:20 PM

Nope. Shampoo was based on Jon Peters who was still alive and not the tragically murdered Sebring.

by Anonymousreply 50March 19, 2022 11:39 PM

It lasts all month, R49 -- every March, all 31 days. We old people who've seen them all before (many of them when they were first released) have to find something else to watch each March.

by Anonymousreply 51March 19, 2022 11:40 PM

All That Jazz will be on Next Friday night. Can't wait!!

by Anonymousreply 52March 20, 2022 12:02 AM

Mildred Pierce is on in an hour and fifteen minutes!

2 pm Eastern, 11 am Pacific.

by Anonymousreply 53March 20, 2022 4:48 PM

Trip To Bountiful is on after Mildred Pierce. Great line up today!

by Anonymousreply 54March 20, 2022 4:51 PM

I Want To Live!

by Anonymousreply 55March 20, 2022 5:10 PM

Bloody Mary and Mildred Pierce time!

by Anonymousreply 56March 20, 2022 5:10 PM

Mildred was so dumb for not hooking up with Wally Fay.

They would have been a power couple.

by Anonymousreply 57March 20, 2022 7:12 PM

A River Runs Through It is on at 8E/5P.

One of my favorite movies.

by Anonymousreply 58March 20, 2022 9:47 PM

Last night I watched Out of Africa, On Golden Pond and Places in the Heart in one sitting. I had no intention of watching Places but I’m glad I did. That ending!

by Anonymousreply 59March 20, 2022 9:58 PM

[quote]A River Runs Through It is on at 8E/5P.

Peak Brad Pitt beauty! And the father's sermon at the end about how we can love completely without completely understanding always brings tears to my eyes.

by Anonymousreply 60March 21, 2022 9:50 AM

Sunday morning, I watched the last half hour or so of Babette's Feast. Then I watched Morning Glory with K. Hepburn, followed by Jezebel with Bette Davis. I've seen that movie about 5 times. It always cracks me up when Henry Fonda says, "A red dress!" because the movie is in B&W.

Watching people back away from Fonda because he has Yellow Jack fever reminded me of COVID-19.

by Anonymousreply 61March 21, 2022 1:21 PM

I watched the last hour or so of, "There Will Be Blood" early this AM. The first time I've seen it. Then...."Leaving Las Vegas" was on after, which was 3 AM. Can't stay awake!

by Anonymousreply 62March 21, 2022 1:39 PM

TCM has programmed the 1967 Soviet film production of War and Peace! The running time is over seven hours. The government provided soldiers as film extras in the battle scenes. They did not allow the burning of Moscow. It’s a movie I’ve yearned to see and hope it’s a corrections that dismal production with Henry Fonda, Audrey Hepburn and that cipher Mel Ferrer.

by Anonymousreply 63March 21, 2022 1:44 PM

The “Russian “War and Peace” is really a masterpiece! Well wort watching. (Terrible that it was so neglected for years that the quality of the prints has declined, and there are still missing sequences,) But what remains is a massive achievement.

However, I wonder if it will be cancelled, in protest for the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

by Anonymousreply 64March 21, 2022 1:57 PM

They just showed "Marty" the other night. I absolutely love that film. Who knew Ernest Borgnine could be that good playing a lonely Bronx butcher (in the same year he played a sadistic role in "From Here To Eternity") All of the roles are so well cast, especially the woman who play's Borgnine's mother. I was floored to learn that the homely "dog" Marty falls for was actually Gene Kelly's real-life wife.

by Anonymousreply 65March 21, 2022 2:30 PM

[quote] Well wort watching.

St. John's-Wort?

by Anonymousreply 66March 21, 2022 3:40 PM

No good movies on TCM today.

Only oldies from the 1930's.

by Anonymousreply 67March 21, 2022 9:36 PM

Yeah...not a fan of Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy. The line up doesn't hold much interest for me today...and the rest of the week. Movies that I've seen many times on TCM already.

by Anonymousreply 68March 21, 2022 11:25 PM

R61 Jezebel was considered to be filmed in color but Bette did not film well in technicolor. Her skin looked super orange so plans were scrapped.

by Anonymousreply 69March 21, 2022 11:36 PM

R59 I really enjoyed that lineup on Saturday.

by Anonymousreply 70March 22, 2022 3:24 AM

Starting Thursday, TCM is going to have a great run of shows (all Eastern Time).

Thurs. Mar. 24:

12:15 am "On the Waterfront." 2:15 am "A Streetcar Named Desire" 5:30 pm "2001: A Space Odyssey"

Friday Mar. 25:

12:00 am "Splendor in the Grass" 2:15 am "Planet of the Apes" 4:15 am "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?" 1:15 pm "Logan's Run" 6:00 pm "The Candidate" 8:00 pm "Fiddler on the Roof" 11:15 pm "All That Jazz"

Saturday, March 26:

11:00 am "Casablanca" 1:00 pm "Lawrence of Arabia" 8:00 pm "A Passage to India" 11:00 pm "The Last Emperor"

Sunday, March 27:

Monday, March 27:

12:30 am "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert"

For Pacific Time, subtract three hours from the start time listed.

by Anonymousreply 71March 22, 2022 4:43 PM

I wish they would show the movies not normally repeated during the day....not in the middle of the night.

by Anonymousreply 72March 22, 2022 5:27 PM

I agree, R72.

All of my favorites are going to be shown between midnight and 2 am.

Priscilla, Splendor in the Grass, Dangerous Liaisons.

Shit.

by Anonymousreply 73March 22, 2022 5:33 PM

Thanks, R71. I will DVR Dangerous Liaisons.

by Anonymousreply 74March 22, 2022 8:18 PM

I love Fiddler on the Roof; that's one thing I have to say for TCM - I enjoy their pre-movie commentary about the making of the movie and how the movie achieved a certain look/style. From a historical concept, it makes me sad to think that little villages like Anatevka were basically wiped out, with their citizens killed in pogroms or fleeing to other countries.

by Anonymousreply 75March 22, 2022 11:02 PM

Song of the South is being snubbed again...despite featuring the first ever male African American's Oscar winning performance.

by Anonymousreply 76March 22, 2022 11:49 PM

Song of the South isn't on TCM R76.

To what are you referring?

by Anonymousreply 77March 23, 2022 3:29 AM

R77, I assume the snub R76 refers to is, perhaps, TCM's refusal to show Song of the South. The actor in question won an Academy Honorary Award. Why R76 seems to think that movie should be shown on TCM beyond this honorary award win is not clear, when there are so many competitively won Oscar-winning performances TCM can show.

by Anonymousreply 78March 23, 2022 4:04 AM

[quote] I assume the snub R76 refers to is, perhaps, TCM's refusal to show Song of the South

To be fair, I don't think that TCM shows very many cartoons, if any.

by Anonymousreply 79March 23, 2022 5:23 AM

A tiny bit of Matt Damon goes a long way. Bless you ,South Park creators!

by Anonymousreply 80March 23, 2022 5:36 AM

I'm trying to remember how many of these i was in.

by Anonymousreply 81March 23, 2022 8:14 AM

R79, I don't think I've ever seen cartoons on TCM. Not even the Saturday morning ones we watched as kids. I know MeTV shows them.

by Anonymousreply 82March 23, 2022 11:25 AM

What in the hell are you talking about, R80?

by Anonymousreply 83March 23, 2022 4:44 PM

TCM has shown some of the Disney cartoons as part of a block of old Disney films, usually hosted by Leonard Maltin.

by Anonymousreply 84March 23, 2022 5:21 PM

TCM would still have to have the rights to show Song of the South or any other Disney cartoon and I'm sure The Mouse has that one buried so deep in the vault, it will never be found again. The Mouse is all PC now, you know!

by Anonymousreply 85March 23, 2022 7:10 PM

From R71's list, the movie marathon kicks off tonight at 12:15 a.m., with "On the Waterfront."

by Anonymousreply 86March 23, 2022 11:31 PM

R82, TCM shows a "Popeye" cartoon every Sat. morning at 7:00 (PDT).

by Anonymousreply 87March 23, 2022 11:43 PM

Is anyone watching Dangerous Liaisons right now?

by Anonymousreply 88March 27, 2022 6:58 AM

I'm watching Dangerous Liaisons. It's still a fantastic film. I think this may be Glenn Close's best performance.

by Anonymousreply 89March 27, 2022 7:48 AM

I caught the tail end of it. It was on in the early AM here. Shucks...

by Anonymousreply 90March 27, 2022 1:46 PM

Dangerous Liaisons is on the TCM app until the end of the month.

by Anonymousreply 91March 27, 2022 3:24 PM

Priscilla, Queen of the Desert is on late night tonight!

"RALPH!"

by Anonymousreply 92March 27, 2022 7:06 PM

Gone With The Wind on this afternoon....after An American In Paris (on now)..

by Anonymousreply 93March 27, 2022 7:12 PM

I never got the appeal of Gene Kelly. For that type of song & dance type movie, I'd prefer Danny Kaye. I realize they are very different things, excessive dancing in a movie just bores me to tears

by Anonymousreply 94March 27, 2022 7:27 PM

Sometimes it's a little twee...but he is a great dancer. Though I like the movie, it's shown too much on TCM.

by Anonymousreply 95March 27, 2022 7:33 PM

"... you get HBO Max for free, and, wallah, you can watch your choice at any time."

I hope you were joking with your "wallah," R41.

by Anonymousreply 96March 27, 2022 7:40 PM

Gene Kelly has a nice tight ass. I like watching him.

by Anonymousreply 97March 27, 2022 9:05 PM

Errol Flynn does nothing for me. I never got his appeal.

by Anonymousreply 98March 27, 2022 9:07 PM

He appeals to me! From "Gentleman Jim" (1942).

by Anonymousreply 99March 27, 2022 10:25 PM

After re-watching "Gone With the Wind", I'm kind of surprised by: Melly is clearly a perfect goody two shoes, but when the situation requires, she's tougher than she looks & knows how to lie like a champ. Scarlet is not only a selfish woman, but also a pretty bad wife & mother. When she tells Ashley to stop being so weak when his wife is dying, it's a cruel thing to say, but also long overdue. At the time, women portrayed in not entirely black/white terms must have been kind of shocking.

Except for Mammy, who gives no fucks, the way the servants were portrayed is cringe inducing - like children who don't know what to do without Scarlet telling them, though you wonder if in real life, many slaves (particularly house slaves) developed a sort of "learned helplessness" that they're so used to only operating on orders, they don't know any other way to function. Anyway, glad that movie is not "cancelled" because it still feels very timely.

by Anonymousreply 102March 28, 2022 10:41 AM

This is the first time I've GWTW in full. Before, it was usually shown later...it's a long movie, so I've seen the beginning and toward the end....and not the middle. I would doze off and miss it. I really like it. I'm glad TCM didn't give in to the cancel culture. They still show the original movies, flaws and nudity, cursing and all. I hate when you watch a violent movie, and the cursing is dubbed with...."friggin, heck, darn", for the F bombs. It's so stupid.

by Anonymousreply 103March 28, 2022 11:36 AM

first time I've *seen GWTW..^^

by Anonymousreply 104March 28, 2022 11:37 AM

I never understood Scarlett's obsession with Ashley. I guess the unattainability (sp) was the cause...when she could have any man, especially with someone like Rhett, who was a man's man, and a bit of a scoundrel....like her. Rhett truly adored her and wanted to spoil her, and loved her for all her flaws. The wanting what you can't have was strong for her. Ashley was a wimp. She was an interesting character...strong and childishly self absorbed. I thought of Mrs. Olsen, of Little House On The Prairie...but a smarter and braver version.

by Anonymousreply 105March 28, 2022 11:58 AM

[quote]I never understood Scarlett's obsession with Ashley.

I've always wondered that too, but last night when I was watching it, it made me think that Ashley is the archetype of the south (or what the south thinks it is); proud and noble, a gentlemen to even someone who insults him inside his own home, living for duty, wealthy & comfortable while oblivious to what provides that comfort. He doesn't necessarily want a war, but he wants to defend his way of life. After the war, he's basically a broken man and he even laments to Scarlett that if the war had never happened, he'd be living this comfortable, oblivious life, but instead, he's received some hard cold reality about the way life really is.

So at the end, I think Scarlett wakes up to the idea that she's in love with something/a way of life that no longer exists, embodied by a man who is now a shell of himself. But yes, her infatuation with him is embarrassing, but he lead her on for years.

by Anonymousreply 106March 28, 2022 12:46 PM

Good analogy..^

by Anonymousreply 107March 28, 2022 12:56 PM

I watched "Lawrence if Arabia" on Saturday. It's long, and Peter O'tool was too tall to play Lawrence, but it is a great film.

by Anonymousreply 108March 28, 2022 2:08 PM

I loved Priscilla, but the ending dance scene in the casino was way too long.

It was clearly a showcase for Tim Chappel's costumes, but it just seemed to go on forever.

And the music was awful

by Anonymousreply 109March 28, 2022 7:51 PM

Guy Pearce was fucking gorgeous in PQOTD.

Peak beauty.

by Anonymousreply 110March 28, 2022 7:52 PM

The music in Priscilla was awful, R109? How can you not like ABBA, Gloria Gaynor, Village People, Peaches and Herb and (gasp) Charlene?! You will need to hand in your gay card NOW, missy!

by Anonymousreply 111March 29, 2022 5:09 AM

War And Peace on now....started at 3:30 am, ends 10:45 am. Looooong movie, must not mind reading subtitles, too.

by Anonymousreply 112March 31, 2022 11:59 AM

The Unsinkable Molly Brown is on Friday morning.

I love that movie!

by Anonymousreply 113March 31, 2022 4:35 PM

Right now...The Sandpipers.....next: Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?.....next: Days Of Wine And Roses....next: To Kill A Mockingbird. Fabulous line-up today!

by Anonymousreply 114March 31, 2022 6:00 PM

The hairdresser in Shampoo isn't based on Jay Sebring, who was primarily famous for doing men's hair, not women's.

by Anonymousreply 115March 31, 2022 9:26 PM

Jay Sebring did men's hair.

by Anonymousreply 116March 31, 2022 9:27 PM

A Patch Of Blue on at 10:30 tonight. All my favorite movies today.. :)

by Anonymousreply 117March 31, 2022 9:33 PM

When does "31 Days of Oscar" officially end?

With a face slap?

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 118March 31, 2022 10:40 PM

Will Smith has officially made "The Academy" a fucking ghetto joke.

It will forever be known as the place where assaults happen and are condoned.

by Anonymousreply 119March 31, 2022 10:41 PM

I wonder if King Richard will end up on TCM in 15 years or so. I know they aired Selma last month which is only 5 or 6 years old.

I noticed they have shown movies from the early to mid 2000s and some of those movies haven't hit the 20 year anniversary. With 31 days of Oscar, some of hosts shared trivial tidbits about the Oscar ceremonies of various years. If TCM is still around years from now, I can imagine some poor host feeling awkward about King Richard airing and having to discuss the 2022 Oscars.

I DVR’d “War and Peace,” and have been watching it. Beautiful, widescreen print. Such a massive, stylish movie. A true masterpiece.

Just watching "Days of Wine & Roses" & Lee Remick slurring "I LIKE GIN"

So do I, Lee, so do I. For a messy drunk, you've got awesome hair, by the way

R122, Days of Wine and Roses is awesome. I had forgotten until watching it on TCM this afternoon. The ending is absolutely heartbreaking.

The Unsinkable Molly Brown is on in about two and a half hours.

Wasn't it an Oscar nominee?

Oscar nominated movies are still shown throughout the year...just not everyday, like in March.
