Bryan Ferry has always been basically a cult artist in the US. He was never a big name here, or all that famous.

Bryan and Roxy Music were the types of musicians who were always name-checked as influencing more popular bands. Don't get me wrong, they were great, but never extremely popular in the US.

When Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry appeared in any major US cities, they would always sell out, yet they sure wouldn't command week long engagements at Madison Square Garden or any super large venue.
