Did Ben ever officially come out? I know he’s posted pro-gay stuff on IG and also once posted a picture in front of a gay bar, but I don’t think he’s ever officially said he’s gay or mentioned having a BF.

Boy Meets World was one of my favorite shows growing up. So I still go back to watch clips now and then again.
Ben Savage does kinda ping. But always just took it as he's just a flamboyant nice Jewish boy like David Schwimmer's portrayal of Ross. I do see he's most likely gay. Unfortunately Rider Strong, the cute one is straight as hell.
I liked how gay friendly Boy Meets World was for a 90s teen sitcom. Just like Sabrina was despite Melissa Joan Hart's MAGAT adjacent ass.

Lance is the one who won't be obscure and constantly talks to the press about NSYNC, Timberlake and Britney. Lance can't get over the fact it's not 1999 anymore.
You don't hear much about the BMW cast outside of that recent scandal of the cast being racially insensitive to Trina McGee or the actress who played Rachel doing porn. DL brings up Ben Savage being a closeted homo a lot.
