Even now, I never watch network evening shows. People ask me then what do you watch at night? usually it's sports, movies, documentaries, etc....

Star Trek nerd, so every episode of:

-- TOS

-- TNG

-- DS9

-- Voyager

-- Enterprise

-- Discovery

-- Picard

-- Lower Decks

But not TAS. That was just too bad to sit through.

I came so close with Knots Landing but I missed one episode in S11/1989-90 and then managed to miss it in reruns, too, a few years later.

by Anonymousreply 21March 11, 2022 4:32 PM

I've seen every single Mama's Family.

I saw every Designing Women except the finale. For unrelated reasons, I had a nervous breakdown-type event that evening. I don't blame that shitty GWTW finale, it was family stuff, yet over the years, I've made the joke that the Designing Women finale pushed me over the edge...

by Anonymousreply 22March 11, 2022 4:58 PM

Downtown Abbey, I Love Lucy, Six Feet Under, Falcon Crest, The Munsters, Knots Landing, Gilligan’s Island, The Crown (so far), The After Party

by Anonymousreply 23March 11, 2022 5:05 PM

OP - our lists are very similar!

To start, I've seen MASH, Mary Tyler Moore, Cheers, Twin Peaks, Seinfeld and Mad Men, The Office. I'm one of those weird DL'ers who couldn't get into The Golden Girls, but I've seen every episode of the first 5 seasons of Designing Women, (maybe a different gene composition?). To add to my list: Frasier, the original Roseanne, (even after it got awful), and possibly Bewitched and Gilligan's Island when I was a young'un.

Coming in 3rd and second are The Shield and Knot's Landing, as I've watched both all the way thru at least twice.

Finally, my #1 show of all time is Mad Men. For me, every episode gets better with each viewing. I've watch it's entirety at least 3 times, some episodes in double digits.

So much wasted time! lol And who gives a fuck right??

I couldn't begin to list them all Dallas to Dynasty, Big Brother to Survivor and The Amazing Race, Wild Wild West, Game of Thrones, Will & Grace, Yellowstone and All in The Family. I didn't watch The Golden Girls much when it was new but I watch it now and I keep thinking I have seen all the episodes and every now and then one I haven't seen will pop up, but then I am also getting old and maybe I just forgot.

by Anonymousreply 58March 11, 2022 10:49 PM

So was "M:I" with Barbara Bain, Martin Landau, and Peter Graves.

And "YES" to "Surfside-6" (da-da-da-da-da-da, In Miami Beach!). And I'll raise you a "Hawaiian Eye"!

by Anonymousreply 68March 12, 2022 9:49 PM

I wish I could add the original Roseanne to my list, but after they won the lottery, that show became unwatchable. Even after all these years, I still can't bring myself to watch episodes from those later seasons 'cause they're so awful.

R71 I don’t like the shows you watch.

by Anonymousreply 72March 12, 2022 11:17 PM

Some shows I started watching, planning to view the entire series, but gave up on at some point: Get Smart, Hogan's Heroes, Lost in Space, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., McHale's Navy, My Three Sons, Tarzan (with Ron Ely).

In most cases, they just started seeming repetitive.

by Anonymousreply 73March 12, 2022 11:18 PM

R73 do you still watch TV? I ask because all of the shows you listed are from the 60s.

by Anonymousreply 74March 12, 2022 11:23 PM

R74 - only a couple of things - Downton Abbey, Big Little Lies. I'm nostalgic for the '60s, I guess.

Upstairs, Downstairs (1971-1975), and after you watch that, continue with Duchess of Duke Street (1976-1977).

The script editor Alfred Shaughnessy, was related to people (and lived with as a kid) that had direct contact with several real historical characters that were in the show. This made for a production that is considerably different than what you usually experience.
