The childhood trauma is that his mother was unmedicated with BPD and PTSD from her own lifetime history of abuse his entire childhood. Guess that would fuck anyone up.

I have a facebook friend who is friends with him. (don't know the guy that well.) He'd post pictures with him. I'd guess they met at church.

He was really religious like 10 years ago. Then like 2 years ago I was shocked to see him posting pictures at the white party. Now he's all buff and kind of instahoish with the shirtless photos.

r9 I read something once where he seemed to be backing down from his ultra-religious ways. Forget the specifics but it was about how we change etc.

I've met him once or twice. Seemed very intelligent and very insecure. NIce guy though, almost too nice, as though it is very important to him to be perceived as nice. Doesn't mean he isn't for real, just a bit of a tryhard.

A lot of people who struggle with something, fall prey to cults and religion which offer a sense of "clarity", "stability" and "guidance".

And let's be honest, we all struggle with something and fall prey to some snake oil salesman, self-medicate, or get an addiction to cope. The possibilities of getting scammed and taken advantage of are endless.

Yes, I can see how someone who comes from a terrible abusive upbringing like Levi's would look to religion for some answers and spiritual peace.

He and Andrea Parker were the best anti-Jack and Karen. It was one of those workplace ensemble sitcoms, but they always had the bitchiest lines/banter.

Knowing that he struggled with trauma, insecurity and depression, I'm surprised he chose acting for his profession. To me that seems to be THE profession that fosters and promotes all forms of personality disorders based on insecurity. Is acting some form of artistic outlet for this type of mental pain?
