Will you see this when it hits Broadway?
They were on This Morning around Christmas time. Just dreadful.

Does the musical cover how their father abused them, mishandled their money and Marie's molestation?

The write up mentions "until one wrong decision brought it all to an end." What was the decision?

Do they sing actual Osmond Family songs, like "I'll be Your Long Haired Lover from lLverpool" and "Just like a Yo-yo"?
How about "The Umbrella Song"? I'd see it just for that.

Ugh enough already with this family! Sick of hearing about them, let alone seeing a musical about them!

Huge crush on Donny when I was a kid.
Great singer - knocked Joseph/Dreamcoat out of the park.

Remember back in the 70’s when they were kind of marketed as the white bread version of the Jackson family?

They love this kind of stuff in the UK. And now, more than ever, I imagine British audiences are desperate for something other than National-branded Woke medicine shoved down their throat. You couldn't pay me to see this show (I'm allergic to jukebox musicals), but as long as it's professionally done, I could see it being a bit hit, at least outside London.

How much will their Mormon religion factor into the story?

The father made bad investments with their money, I believe a fellow Mormon financial advisor was involved and screwed them over. Their father also built a huge unnecessary studio for the Donny & Marie Show that they couldn't sustain. They lost all their money and the father didn't believe in declaring bankruptcy so they had to work their way out of debt and start all over.

The biggest question about this musical is, Why?
Donny is a talented singer, but a musical about the Osmond Family seems so unnecessary.

A musical 🎶 without music??

Surely it will include this epic, heart-rending classic:
