I like JGL, but his performance seems a little one-note.

I would watch Kyle Chandler in jus t about anything.
Saying I want him in my deeply just doesn't cut it for me. I want him in me deeply and always.
Oh, the show. First ep was just okay. I like The Dropout better so far.

The acting in this is so over the top and unbelievable. No way did things happen like this. It more likely happened over email, not all these dramatic shouting matches.

They called it Boober because of how much pussy they were getting. That's who you're giving your money to when you order a ride.

Based on the trailer, I gather this is The Social Network meets Halt and Catch Fire?

You nailed it R6.

Love Joseph Gordon Levitt and Uma Thurman - but this looks pretty bad.

That was the worst trailer in a long while. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ FLAT nothingness.

People haven’t been checking for him since 2013

It feels like the TV movies Hollywood squares (so to speak) made about “the hippies,” but instead of everybody saying “groovy” they say “fuck.”

The closet kills.

The fat in Levitt's face is beginning to swallow his facial features. He'll look like Kevin Spacey soon.

The first episode was just boring.

R1. JGL has been one-note since Inception. That note being: wooden.
He seemed different in Mysterious Skin. Maybe that was his youth.

oh god it's a series? Poor Uma can't catch a break. She's in bomb after bomb nowadays.

I think it's safe to say that Uma is only good when Tarantino directs her. (Well, I take that back, I liked her in Henry & June. But that's about the only non-Tarantino movie I can think of where she gave a memorable performance.)

This show is from the guys who make “Billions.” Same music guy doing the soundtrack, too.
Yes, it has a very HACF feel and even stars Kerry Bishe for good measure.
I like it.

There are lots of sly inside jokes it seems. They cast Fred Armisen as a Portland government official and Ben “Ron LaFlamme” Feldman as the main google guy. Quentin narration of Umas character includes some snippets of “Pulp Fiction” dialogue.

I love Joseph Gordon Love Hewitt!!

JGL was his best in his teen and young adult years. Brick, Lookout, Looper, Mysterious Skin, etc. He does seem to be phoning it in lately. Maybe he's more focused on production and his company. He's still hot and fuckable though.
