So the hotel room was Yotel and if you’ve ever been in one, the night lights are purple. So I have this cheap sun lamp projector I got on Amazon for $20 and when I shined the sun lamp on him with the lights off, it turned it that color. And I took the hotel bed post lights and aimed them at his face.

I worked for a photo studio for years now I’m independent so I’m trying to develop my own look / style. I love warm tones, I love lights, etc. I feel like people can see a pattern of style in these photos and they don’t look so random lol.

A Canon Rebel! Which I’m sure is offensive to a lot of professional or even hobbyist photographers.

But I learned how to take photos in a studio using an archaic Sony Cybershot that was made for 6 months before being marked defective! My boss kept buying used ones that would last for a few weeks to a few months, some were shit upon opening them. So when you’ve got a shit camera, lighting and chemistry with models are essential so that’s always stuck with me.

But you can buy a 2,000-4,000 camera and make shit photos if your settings and lighting are off.

I use a simple filter lens called Dream FX by Prism Lens. It gives a soft focus.

I’m trying to work towards old school Playboy / George Hurrell lighting. Because I shoot in hotel rooms, unlike a studio, I walk in unfamiliar with certain things and have to think or act fast for lighting setups. Hotel rooms don’t have a lot of plugs so I have extension cords everywhere, I think I have six.

Sometimes I do a 4-6 lighting setup.

So I told him Ok he has a name and I’ll pay what he wants, maybe it’ll be good for me and I can promote my work using his familiar face. So I offer him a date and he ignores it, then reaches out to me again, I give him another date and he blows up because I scheduled it out 2 weeks. So he says no and I respond back with “go get paddled by old men”. This is referring to I believe one of his first scenes where an old man spanks him mercilessly. He goes into a rage and threatens to beat me up the next time he sees me. I was going to respond back “I’ll bring my paddle” but he deleted his account after that, which tells me the site we were on he wasn’t getting too many offers.

Shit attitude and I don’t think studios work with him twice and I can see why. Absolute diva.

Sean Costin is another diva. I reached out to him on IG and at first he was ok then turned rude. He has either an enormous ego or has a mental disorder / illness. He yells at his gay fans all day in his IG stories. He lives in New Hampshire where there’s absolutely NO sex industry and that’s why his OnlyFans content is so dry - that and he’s too much of an asshole to work with. R38 It’s work! I worked full time as a photographer for 11 years for a photo studio. Even though I got a new job last year and do photography on the side, I still see it as a job. It’s a way for me to make money. Although I don’t make money on these shoots, there’s a publicity or marketing effect that leads me to a money trail. For example, a model who wants management for their OnlyFans.

Oh I love the light! I love what it added to the photo.

The photo was taken at Yotel, I had just bought this small cheap sunlamp for $20 on Amazon. Inside the hotel room, the night light is purple so when you turn off the lights the whole room turns into a purple glow.

So I did 2 shoots that day. At the end of the first shoot the room was a mess of my lights and when I looked back, I had the sun lamp on the bed and saw the colors it was making with the purple lights.

So I did that with the second model (the guy in the photo) but it was tooo purple and pink. So on the bed there’s 2 stretchy neck lamps on each side of the headboard and I turned them on the models face to add some light to his face.

I don’t think the photo would look good without the light.
