Last week I watched him for the first time in years and holy cow he is still so bad as a host. Granted, I'd be so bored with these Lottery "millionaires" but he's so one-note. "You two look cute!" "How do I look?" Blech...

I don’t mind tatts, in fact I like them, but this is too much. All over the neck, face and hands. Screams personality disorder or severe trauma.

There's clearly something seriously wrong with this guy. Why would someone whose whole career is based on being on TV do that to himself. The day will come (if it hasn't already) when no one will want to hire him.

The ever growing number of visible tattoos come in handy when watching his show, it lets me know at a glance whether or not I'm watching a new episode, or a re-run and which season it first aired.

Anybody who find it okay to also add neck tattoos has some type of psychological issue. And most of his tattoos are either tacky or kitschy, which makes me question his designing capabilities.

David Bromstad and Bob Harper were both fairly attractive when they started their television careers. But they have gone overboard with all the tatts and piercings and quirky fashion sense.

Didnt I read somewhere that he had a long term boyfriend who dumped him because of his drug use and endless partying? If i remember correctly,the bf said once he started on HGTV his personality completely changed.

^ he may have had a contract in place that didn't address changes in appearance. If that is the case, they learn a valuable lesson. I've watched but the tatts are a turn off. Also, probably intimidating/distracting for some folks who are not used to that....the million dollar winner in Montana or Alabama (no offense to those living in the states).

The tats are a wreck, especially those face and neck tats. Signs of an unhinged mind. He's also acting more manic than ever and like he's trying to suppress it because he's on camera.

I had such a crush on him during the season he won Design Star, and he was still cute at the beginning of Color Splash. I stumbled upon that lottery show of his not long ago and was shocked. He is super creepy now.
