I'm not sure when Taylor switched specialties from cancer to psychiatrist, but her scenes with Joanna Johnson (whom she was brought on to replace) have genuine warmth.

Don't get me wrong, I can see everything you predict actually happening. I just can't figure out Lei's motivation. Unfortunately, Sheila gets away with everything so Lei will probably be sacrificed to prop her.

R243 = Finn could be in a coma right now. In my scenario he is just a sleeping little camper being cared for by Dr. Lei and could be that way for months. Her motivation is simple. Someone tried to kill her son. While she doesn't think Sheila did it (why would she)--she is afraid until that person is found. She also blames Sheila (and Taylor) for allowing Finn and Sheilas relationship to become closer since the holidays. It is very plausible for a medicated Finn to stumble upon Steffy and Liam holding hands or kissing and misunderstand.. He walks out unseen and right into Sheila....REMEMBER = Felicia Forrester died on screen (and so did Taylor). So while we DID see Finn "dead" this show has pulled out resurrections before.....Video of Felicia dying in front of Stephanie, Eric, Ridge, etc....

Brooke swore the letter was fake but the doctors signature WAS confirmed on the letter and the doctor had received a large amount of money around the time of the first paternity test... I know they are basically different universes now but if Phyllis, Summer and Kyle recently visited Eric in Los Angeles (about Sally's past) and both show KNOW that Sheila is back on B&B couldn't they have Eric alert Lauren on Sheila's whereabouts or something? It used to cause Lauren a lot of anxiety that Sheila was alive and could show up in GC any moment, but Lauren is acting oblivious to it all right now. I mean she thought she had killed Sheila with someone else face, ferchrissakes!

It doesn't make sense that crossovers as recent as last year could happen but no mention of the elephant in the room.

Jack and Phyllis were in Los Angeles in April during the time period that Sheila was causing havoc.

They even had multiple scenes at B&B's outdoor restaurant set, redressed slightly to look like an outdoor coffeeshop.

Well, like Brad Bell implied in his 2017 interview on the subject, it will be up to Team Y&R to align the Sheila universes, and I wouldn't count on Griffith touching it. Lauren and LaBaldwin are afterthoughts as is.

But having the Deacon character show up and be some kind of bridge in the current Diane story and relate it to Sheila now would then open up the can of worms related to Deacon's involvement with Sheila's sister, Sarah Smythe and her twins, Daisy and Ryder, on Y&R. Has Brad ever had Deacon mention anything to Sheila related to him in collusion with that trio?

Hoping they don't kill Sheila or send her back to jail or on the lam yet again. Today's episode without her felt three times longer. I cant believe the writers are yet again aiming for yet another Steffy-Hope-Liam triangle AND while also doing another tiresome Brooke-Ridge-Taylor triangle. The writers need to take advantage of having Sheila there and kill off one person from each triangle. Think of the viewers!

Steffy is now home from the hospital, but still no mention of Finn's funeral.

If Finn is still alive, Steffy and her family are unaware of it.

Since Finn was a doctor, they can say he had an organ donation card on him and after the transplant doctors were done with him his body was cremated.

Bless American soaps. I'm in the UK so we don't really get any of them anymore. We used to get Days of Our Lives and The Bold and the Beautiful years ago, though. Oh and who could forget Sunset Beach?!

They're very different to UK soaps, which are usually based in gritty city areas, whereas most people seem affluent in US soaps yet never seem to do any work.

Do US soaps still spend multiple episodes on the same day? I remember how slow moving they felt. In UK soaps, generally each episode covers a real day - i.e. it's meant to take place on the day it airs.

R435 B&B returned to the UK in April 2020, being picked up by Freeeview's CCXTV. The announcement said they'd be starting with Episode 7999. They aired one episode every evening (M-F) and an omnibus on the weekend.

But by the end of that year, CCXTV was acquired by UKTV. Don't know if they were still airing B&B, but then they sold to the Drama Channel, and B&B is not on their current schedule..

Episodes of B&B are now available for streaming on Pluto TV UK. They have all of Season 32 (2018-2019) which goes from Episode 7929 to 8177, meaning that they're about four years behind the current U.S. broadcast.

I have no idea if or when subsequent seasons will be added. The previous changes don't inspire much confidence that one should get involved with it.

And this is like the third relaunch in the UK that's stalled. Back in 2015, they created a dedicated youtube channel for UK viewers to stream the soap. As I recall, they started with episodes that were about two years old (2013). That lasted for about a year, then it just stopped. The channel wasn't closed down, though, and those episodes are still there.

I believe every episode of B&B starting with Season 27 (2013) was originally produced to accommodate streaming, because you can find all of Seasons 27 - 35 available via Amazon Prime and Paramount+. So going forward, it appears they might only have to fill in 1991-2012 now. Still a big undertaking.
