“The Haves and the Have Nots” by Tyler Perry is soooo bad it’s good
Someone got me into this mess of a “drama” series, and I’m addicted. I just saw this scene and couldn’t believe how ridiculous this is, but for some reason YouTube has most scenes from the show but not this one.
Wyatt (black guy) comes out to Jeffrey and tricks him into coming out. The acting and storylines are telenovela level bad. Omg. It’s not even soap opera, it’s Mexican soap opera level camp. I’m hooked.
Then Wyatt goes to leave to out Jeffrey to his raging homophobic mother so Jeffrey knocks him out with a golf club 😂😂😂😂

Anything by Tyler Perry is so bad it’s good. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything he’s done that’s so good it’s great…or so bad it’s horrible. To his his credit, he knows how to cast his projects.

This show has so many attractive men, it’s insane r1. I’m shocked how many pretty guys are in it.

I wrote the names backwards. Wyatt = white and Jeffrey = black.

As one would.

The Haves and the Have Nots is Shakespeare compared to many of Perry's other shows: Ruthless, The Oval, and Too Close to Home among lots of other dreadful shows.

The bad acting… but it works lol

There is or was a youtube channel that only showed the gay parts of each episode. I watched it for a while (mostly for the eye candy). What OP says is true. The dialogue and acting suck big time, but the characters are fun to watch. Wyatt's mom is truly evil.
It's like driving by a car accident, you can't help looking.

He has his own version of scandal, called the oval, and I watched a couple episodes because I heard it was incredulous. Guys, it's like watching a porno on drugs without any actual porn. Watching it was fun and entertaining, regardless that it could've been written by high schoolers! There's a funny gay storyline in it as well, and you can very easily tell that the writers and actors aren't gay. I included a photo of the "President of the United States"

He sure has an eye for hot guys r11. His shows may be terrible with awful writing and terrible acting, but boy are the guys hot.

Is it as bad-good as Passions? Does it have a dwarf?

SISTAS has a ton of gay content, including scenes in a gay bar, a gay bashing crime, and sweaty muscled hunks playing basketball.
Like all Tyler Perry series, it moves at a GLACIAL pace.

Personally r14 I think Sistas is his best show. Which is not saying much but the things you pointed out, I do enjoy watching. The actor who plays Gary, good Lord, his body is insanely hot, as is the actor who plays Zac.
Sistas is getting a spinoff - "Zatima" starring the show's most popular couple, Zac and Fatima.

Isn’t Sistas the one with Trinity Whiteside as Preston?

My problem with this show, apart from the lack of talent, is the paving and the concept of time. I can't tell how far ahead in time the plotlines move (sometimes it is the same day/night over 8 episodes). It started with a good premise but it went bad really quickly.

Who needs talent when you look like some of these men? The men in TP shows are always way hotter than the women.

Kristian Kordula is one of the handsomest men I've ever seen. I haven't watched the show, but he grabbed my attention just from some promos of it.

Yes. I think he's one of the better actors on the show. He's gorgeous.

OP, I used to catch this show every week when it was on! Did you watch it through the series finale? The casting choices were great; nearly every guy on this show was hot. Even though Jeffrey's mom was a psychotic homophobe, she had the best lines. This was one of Tyler's better shows and is probably the only he's written where he does not fill time by having the characters stare blankly for 5 seconds after someone asks, "are you sure?"

Wendy Williams has insinuated that he's gay. Her black gay glam squad definitely hear things and know what's up

Did Aaron O'Connell and John Schneider really hook up?

It is surprising to me what some of these shows get away with! Last night on SISTAS, the flamboyant gay character Maurice had a line: "I have sucked dick for twenty dollars and a Bingo card, so what do you think I'd do for millions??!!" They bleeped out the "sucked dick" but you could clearly see him saying it.
I guess BET is looking the other way when it comes to standards and practices -

R26 lmao it’s because it’s a Tyler Perry production. He pretty much owns them at this point.
