It's been a long time since I saw The Crush, but pretty sure its about a professor (Elwes) who rents a guest house apartment from teenage Silverstone's parents (who aren't around much) and she develops a crush on him. When he forcefully rejects her advances, she goes psycho on him and tries to destroy his life.
