^Well, that's a mess. Sorry.

First "bloke" now "rupee". I think the NYT has outsourced Wordle to some third-world call center.

LOL r5!!

I only knew the word because when I was a kid in the 1980s, my dad used to read weird old British novels from the library, and I'd read them once he was done. I don't think I've actually SEEN the word "rupee" in 25 years, maybe longer.

The NYT word games are not for the hoi polloi
by Anonymous | reply 9 | March 1, 2022 4:14 PM |
I had to look it up to confirm it was a word.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | March 1, 2022 4:17 PM |
How could you not know "rupee" is a word?

Muriel, can you remove OP. She's a hideous troll who likes spoiling other people's fun.
She also posted on the official Wordle thread as well.
OP, fuck you.

Cecily, you will study your political economy while I'm gone. The fall of the rupee you may omit. It is much too sensational.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | March 1, 2022 4:46 PM |
That is not how you summon Muriel.

That may be, but at least us common folk can enjoy it.

I got it, but I have family members who grew up in India.

You think Wordle is tough? Try Lewdle. I mean, how many five letter dirty words are there?
by Anonymous | reply 17 | March 1, 2022 5:10 PM |
I got it on my last guess. My previous word had been ruffe, which is a little fish.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | March 1, 2022 5:52 PM |
I don’t “guess” at Wordle. I deduce.

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
