Robin is in NYC and keeping a low profile because of covid. Prior to covid, she regularly appeared at gay events in NY. She's still been active on social media, though.

Supposedly, she still has copies of all of her shows on video tape. She really should try to make a deal with one of the streaming services to digitize them and post them, instead of letting collect dust.

OP, if you spelled her name correctly and searched internet you'd have an answer.

She must be about 90 by now. I remember watching her cable show in Manhattan back in the '80s.

I met her once. We had a nice long chat. She was great to talk to.

Ms. Byrd struck pay dirt with those telephone chat/sex lines. Their heyday didn't last long however, once internet gained traction everyone was on AOL, Gay.com and other chats.

Knew people who were getting telephone bills in hundreds each month from those damn chat/sex lines. You'd ring them up say on a Friday evening and get a busy signal for hours.

Who knew in space of twenty years or so everyone would be staring at computer/tablet/phone screen whacking off (and or chatting) in real time live action instead.
