He’s a great actor when given the right part.

Eastwood's kid with that awful drunk Frances Fisher is similarly "talented."

Everyone with a famous relative always wants a piece of it for themselves. Jonah Hill's fat beaky sister. Patrick Mahomes' Ike Turner-esque brother. Bette Midler's oddly restrained daughter. And on and on.

Middling talented actor at best (I wouldn't say he can't act at all) who's much moresuited for rom coms and lighter fare than the action crap he's been doing up until now. He'd do well on one of the tv crime procedurals (L&O, CSI etc), he's better suited for the small screen.

The problem is he's been emulating his father's roles and career. He's not his dad, they look moderately alike but that's it. Clint had/has a steely toughness and cinematic presence that was hard for anyone to imitate, Scott is a much more funny, amiable persona.
