Remember when Robert Pattinson tried to rebrand himself as a thoughtful actor a few years ago?

He is rather the king of the indies now, isn't he? I think he is a thoughtful actor. The blonde isn't good.

He was awesome in Good Time and The Lighthouse. I think he's a great actor.

"CBS Sunday Morning" did feature on Kristen Stewart, mentioning her relationship with Pattinson. Then told us she plans to marry her girlfriend, though no date has been set. Guess he was her Merkin.

He's proven himself to be a good actor, but photoshoots like that do not benefit him.

He's a good indie actor in a very old-school kind of way, when indie actors were sociopaths with screen presence and interesting faces. Unfortunately, because he was in "Twilight," all these mags want to do stories on him like he's some A-list Hollywood player, and all he does is screw around and tell weird lies, which is boring when a dumb person does it.

JRM was gorgeous if a bit spooky looking when he was young. All 3 irish pretty boys had stints as models, before acting. JRM, Collin Farrell, and Jamie Dornan. Jamie was even a successful model. Jonathan got a lot of editorial work AFTER he became a star, and he looked fantastic in much of it. He works for so many big brands. I hope he made bank and didn't drink it all away.

Robert was never pretty, even when they tried to sell him as that. He's not ugly. He might get handsome in his 40s, who knows.

Yeah. contrary to popular belief, between 35 and 40 is when people really blossom. By 60. his fug face will be gorgeous.

Anyone have any insider info on how The Batman is tracking? I just don't sense any real excitement for it or for Pattinson in the role. I suppose it will make some money but does anyone really expect it to compete with prior versions or even the lowest-grossing MCU movies?

He’s redeemed himself with his latest films. Kristen Stewart will always suck. All of his public relationships seemed like beards to me.

R24 I guess you are being snarky? But there are some men who come into their looks as mature men, not before. He has a masculine face, not a pretty boy's face. Irregular and full of angles. Age could add a lot of interest. I think he'd be even better if he were over 1.9m tall. But alas 1.85.

He was SO hot in "The Lighthouse." I think he's a good--but limited--actor. Pretty inconsistent tho. Really depends on the material and director. In one film, he's great, and then the next one not so much.

At 35 he's a bit long in the tooth for that sort of photoshoot. It's more suited to a guy in his 20s trying to extend his career beyond "handsome young romantic" roles.

He's spent too much time being on the verge of not happening as opposed to being on the verge of happening.

He is a serious actor now who is highly respected in the art world.

The Batman has a lot to live up to when it's released next month. Not only previous incarnations but the box office if the last Spiderman and The Joker. I watched his interview where he talked about his Bruce Wayne being a hopeless depressive with no will to live and blah blah blah. I'm not sure he's being the best pitchman for such a lengthy film, especially when most people are already depressed on their own.

He's so spindly and anemic I can't picture him as Batman. I guess the suit will come complete with compartments for his English tea bags, yes?
