I thought he was hotter than Greg Evigan on MTD.

I always thought he was cute.

He kind of disowned My Two Dads for some reason. It was a good show.

Relatively unfunny cisgender male comic with a lucky portion of career success.

Never liked him. And yes, My Two Dads was way better than that Mad About You shit.

He was hilarious as the ultimate smarmy corporate, yuppie slime ball in Aliens. It was a timely, cathartic movie demise.

Never cared for My Two Dads. I'm still a big fan of Mad About You.

Occasionally a Funny Jewish guy,, but never my type physically, I never watched the My Two Dads TV show, but I liked sexy Greg Evigan, and he (PR) was a good creepy villain in the Aliens movie sequel.

Not my type of funny. Humor based on never-ending anxiety is just so grating.

I hardly recognized him in "The Kominsky Method."

I've always had an irrational hatred of him. I'm sure he's a lovely gent, but between his role in Aliens (his death should have been graphically depicted onscreen) and that stupid show with Helen Hunt, plus his unfortunate appearance (which I shouldn't hold against him, but I do) I simply cannot stand him.

He was of a moment when Jewish Hollywood was trying hard to promote itself.

In 1998 there was this anti-paparazzi bill that went up to congress and he was one of the big celebrities who supported it and I thought, "who is buying paparazzi photos of Paul Reiser?" Someone was though apparently.

R21 He played the urban successful Jewish guy in Mad About You well. Are there any young actors still playing that classic Jewish kind of guy? Ben Stiller comes to mind.

Oh, Paul! I liked the Mad About You revival/reboot three years ago.

He aggravates me. I never liked him at all.

In the only role I've ever seen him in, Whiplash, he was warm, likeable and believable.

Agree that the unending anxiety in Mad About You was not humorous. Never found Paul Reiser or Helen Hunt funny.

Don’t find either of them appealing: physically or in regards to their acting although the one exception was the character PR played in Aliens. It seemed so naturally up his alley.

This all tracks with the comment someone made about Helen Hunt who was cast on a mad About You: she had every reason to be happy while on Mad About You, but was perpetually unsatisfied and unhappy.

I think he played himself in Aliens.

I liked him on Mad About You & thought he was really nebbishly cute back then, I mostly watched for Lisa Kudrow, she was hysterical as Ursula.

The ultimate greasy 80s yuppie in Aliens. I want to tear his head off when he says "those Space Marines are real tough hombres". So perfectly hateable.

A couple of decades ago Seinfeld talked about how Paul followed him career-wise. Soon after Seinfeld gave that interview there was a plot line on Seinfeld about a comedian who copied everything Jerry did.

Paul's wife is a psychologist and very low-key. They had a son with developmental disabilities and she's stayed out of the limelight as has the now adult child. They all seem very harmless although Paul has an enormous ego relative to his limited accomplishments.

I hated the way he wrote his jeans. All scrunched up, high in the waist, no bulge.
