I love their music, and, well, everything about them. Looks like they have a new album coming out soon.
Never heard of them before now OP but that guy does look better than the average lead singer.

Two gay brothers from Chicago. They've had some fantastic music.
Somewhat in a vein of Everything but the Girl/Belle and Sebastian/Saint Etienne, but really unique, those comparisons don't really do them justice.
