I remember reading an ‘80s book - probably unrelated to the one OP is referencing - that listed various celebrities by initials only. The author prefaced his list by saying these people were all gay, but “for now” initials would have to suffice.

I'm very intrigued by this notion that Sonny Tufts raped Johnny Carson. I only ever knew of Tufts from a book I had when I was a kid called The Golden Turkey Awards, all about bad movies.
