This gets to the crux of the matter for sure. Always be wary of men who have to cloak themselves in what they think are "ideals of masculinity". Madonna's other husband Guy is very similar in this regard. In his book, Christopher Ciccone, I seem to remember, pointed out how effotlessly masculine Warren Beatty was compared to either Sean or Guy, and this is something I've seen in some men too.
