it's from the HBO show Euphoria
by Anonymous | reply 2 | January 25, 2022 1:06 PM |
Euphoria, Season 2, Episode 3. There is dong.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | January 25, 2022 1:07 PM |
Natural dong
by Anonymous | reply 4 | January 25, 2022 1:12 PM |
What do you consider dong?
Dong, natural dong!
by Anonymous | reply 5 | January 25, 2022 1:18 PM |
All dongs are natural. You think you order one on Amazon and it's shipped to you in a box?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | January 25, 2022 1:23 PM |
That’s hot
by Anonymous | reply 7 | January 25, 2022 1:24 PM |
I think the poster meant as opposed to prosthetics often used in filming, R6.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | January 25, 2022 1:49 PM |
The guy with the longish hair kind of looks like Jared Leto ca. 1994.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | January 25, 2022 3:06 PM |
that flashback sequence in the episode was somewhat heartbreaking.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | January 25, 2022 3:16 PM |
What a nice change from all of the threads about Trump, NYC being a crap city, vaccines, and theater shit.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | January 25, 2022 5:12 PM |
What's the context of this scene and these characters for those of us who don't care to watch Euphoria?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | January 25, 2022 6:04 PM |
We don't care to tell you, R12.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | January 25, 2022 6:08 PM |
Dang, they are pretty cute. I've never heard of Euphoria, any good?
by Anonymous | reply 14 | January 25, 2022 6:24 PM |
I think I need to start watching Euphoria.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | January 25, 2022 6:34 PM |
Is this the same show where that kid with the bleached hair is standing there watching the army guys in the showers naked?
by Anonymous | reply 16 | January 25, 2022 6:40 PM |
In which episode(s) might we enjoy some Elordi dong?
by Anonymous | reply 17 | January 25, 2022 6:41 PM |
[quote]All dongs are natural. You think you order one on Amazon and it's shipped to you in a box?
R5's response is a clever allusion to Tom Tom Club's song "Genius of Love." ("What do you consider fun? Fun, natural fun!"
I for one thought it was witty.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | January 25, 2022 6:43 PM |
Meh
by Anonymous | reply 19 | January 25, 2022 6:44 PM |
Given that we're on Datalounge, r18, I hope you'll forgive me for assuming it was yet one more reference to "uncut" cocks.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | January 25, 2022 6:46 PM |
Is euphoria about bisexual sluts?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | January 25, 2022 6:46 PM |
R20: Forgiven! Now go and sin some more.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | January 25, 2022 6:47 PM |
Is that the actual show, or did somebody edit out all the non-make-out scenes?
by Anonymous | reply 23 | January 25, 2022 7:26 PM |
The narrative seems rather skewed
by Anonymous | reply 24 | January 25, 2022 7:30 PM |
The hetero scenes look like the live-action version of an old A&F catalogue.

No.

Please tell us this isn't a serious question. Because if it IS a serious question, you're an idiot.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | January 25, 2022 7:33 PM |
I love the idiot

It's three minutes out of the fourteen minute sequence that begins the episode.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | January 25, 2022 7:36 PM |
Fuck you, R27, I don't watch tv so for all I know tv editing has now reached the level of frenetic music videos. I just assume that regular viewers can fill in the cuts.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | January 25, 2022 7:38 PM |
It's part of an opening sequence that's supposed to illuminate an older character's backstory when he was a teen (played as an adult by series regular Eric Dane). These two actors are not regulars on the series and this is a one-off in context of the rest of the series. Eric Dane's character is the father of one of the teens on the show played by hunky heartthrob Jacob Elordi. The father is a closeted married man who fucks rough trade and trans teens and has a fucked up relationship with his equally fucked up son.

R31- You make it sound kind of interesting. Maybe I'll watch the show later on HBOMAX.

That was " We Are Who We Are."
by Anonymous | reply 33 | January 25, 2022 8:18 PM |
R33- Ok, thanks.

There are ENDLESS choices nowadays for tv show and movies- Netflix, HBO, Amazon, YouTube ( free stuff)- thousands of choices. It's too much at times.
When I was a kid in the1970's there were SEVEN tv channels and that was it. Seven channels was a lot in those days because some metro areas only had three channels.

R35 I remember having ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS. Also, a couple of UHF channels.

R8 Yes.

Euphoria is very well made. The story, characters, and direction / cinematography / writing / music holds my attention. It seems VERY contemporary but not fake/sensational, which is tough to pull off. I like the focus on each character in each episode in season 1. Elordi plays a terrifying character, extremely memorable smart, hot, cunning sociopath.
Season 1/Episode 1 did not captivate me and I could have done without the two, between season, special episodes. The Halloween episode during season 1 was fantastic. Season two, thus far, is maintaining well. (Unlike, say, the second season of “American Gods” as compared to the first.)
I would also imagine that certain aspects—such as “Zendaya” & “Trans”—could be a trigger for some DLers. I had never seen her in anything before and I thought she was fine.

Could not agree more r38. It is fascinating to watch.

I am right there with you, R36. I would add:
(1) Until well into the 1970s, our only TVs (except for our rich neighbor) were boxy black-and-white things with at-times snowy reception;
(2) Stations wouldn't broadcast 24/7...there would be a "sign-off" (usually the playing of the national anthem or something with video of a waving flag) at 2 am--earlier or later depending, sometimes, on the day of the week or the station--followed by a test pattern with a steady beep ("until we resume regular programming at 6 am").
(3) "Appointment TV" wasn't a thing...it was the only thing. You saw a show when it aired, during rerun season, or not at all. Rare exceptions were rebroadcasts of particularly popular shows/specials.
Ah...the good old days!
