I don’t know who these people are, but I’ve seen this story making the rounds. I know the DL apologists will shit on this kid because he’s male, but she sounds deranged. Not sure why he continued any relationship though after the first few times.

They were childhood friends who later gained big followings on social media independent of each other, then decided to collaborate on social media - in doing that they both gained bigger followings. So it was a friendship and professional relationship, but he says he only wanted a platonic relationship and that she was basically a stalker who wanted to invade his space and was sexually abusive to him, once when he was passed out (and there was video to prove it).

It was gross, the lady copped a feel when he was passed out. Through his jeans. For a couple seconds. Then some of his buddies put an end to it. It's not cool however is it enough to milk it like this (pun intended)? Is it the grand trauma so far in this young man's life? My initial take on this was he was heralded for having an untraditional looking girlfriend because she was slightly ethnic looking and had wide hips and he/they ran with it for social media clout. Apparently, she and her family have been friends of their family for a long time and his twin brother’s, who is openly gay, best friend. They came off as very lovely dovey, and perfect boyfriend/girlfriend in social media and if only because of the day and age we live in sexually active. But in reality any affection and intimacy was only for the camera, and they were in no way at all a real couple, at least in his eyes. I don’t know who around them, friends and family, knew what was what.

So here’s this cute boy being all lovely dovey and maybe not open with the girl who wants to get it on and have a real relationship like they are presenting to the world at large. I think he’s just as gay as his twin and was doing it for bearding the whole time and then felt violated when she wanted more and was playfully aggressive as any real life couple would have been. Regardless, he lied about what their relationship was for social media and he bears responsibility for setting up the situation. And if he’s using drugs and drinking to the point of blacking out as is she also, then he has to take responsibility for putting himself in that situation and what happened. Overall, he’s the boy who cried wolf and seeks sympathy on the public stage for his own very bad life choices.

Popular Tik Tokers and YouTubers are "nobodies." All the people who are on The Bachelor or Survivor, or other reality shows, are also nobodies. But their shows are corporate-sponsored and they get on the covers of magazines that are for the middle aged and the old, so you've "heard of" them. You can't stand for some reason that internet celebs have made their own fame. Because of the internet it's a new world where people don't need networks or studios to become celebs and some people can't deal with that.

R54 what that also means is that the number of celebs has grown massively and without the gatekeepers of the networks and studios the entire field is diluted, so everyone is a little less famous than they would otherwise be, perhaps famous among certain age groups and venues, but little-known elsewhere.

Maybe she was confused between real life and their online personas. Perhaps the lines were blurred.

They made their own fame on no talent or intelligence. People with no talent fade away faster than those without. The Kardashians are rich and connected to other celebrities in LA hence their longevity. But these TikTok and Instagram influencers have very short shelf lives. Attention spans are shorter these days and their audience is kids and teens who will grow up and lose interest.

It's not that people can't handle it it's just that people with brains know this is just 15 minutes of fame as Warhol predicted.
