So she stopped apologizing because she realized the outrage was false.

I was watching him stu-stu-stumble his way through his intro last night - his intro, which rolls past on the prompter - he's fucking reading out loud - and he cou-cou-couldn't manage without it mixed up getting. If you saw her last tour, Kathy spent quite a bit on Andy Cohen and had a pretty funny argument that Andy kept emulating her and then removing opportunities from her and taking over their essence. It was hysterical and very persuasive. It wasn't bitter, it was bitchy and funny and the audience just knew that this stuff was getting under both Andys' skin. They did not come across well, that's for sure, and the drunk antics sans humor a few weeks ago on NYE did not undermine her point.

Mark my words- any day now, Andy will announce Designer Baby #2. He will selfishly bring a child into the world despite his old age, his REALLY old parents, guaranteeing to leave them alone in the world in their early adulthood. She's right of course, but the thing with her is she harps on things until you get sick of her. Like how in the days before The Photo, her comedy routine consisting of Kardashian & Housewife recaps was getting very tired.

The photo shoot was the most interesting thing Kathy had done in years, and I think it cements a place for her in the comedy and even political history books. I get that she's suffered loss of job opportunities and threats to her life because of it, but I don't feel like she's ever truly gone away because of it. She made something of it, with her successful comedy tour and documentary and multiple talk-show appearances.

She needs something else now. Not forever re-hashing the events of 2017 and not these "Kathy needs to work again" profile pieces, either. I liked her in "Search Party."

Comedians do crazy shit all the time (sometimes in very poor taste or even offensive) and don’t get canceled. I think people who are progressive or liberals and news outlets just desperately wanted to pretend they were “not like that” and are civil so they didn’t get any backlash (remember, liberals hold themselves to a higher standard of behavior in general compared to Republicans, who embrace hypocrisy and wear it proudly on their sleeve).
