The first season was so weird.

I liked learning about Jennifer Coolidge's broader range when I watched the first season. Her costuming was lovely considering that she's quite the tall and stacked lady (she's a brick house) who gained some weight. Is she to return for the 2nd season for sure? And, if she is then Aubrey Plaza should have been cast as her assistant since they're both part of the same comedy continuum in a way.

Adam DiMarco better play gay

I'll support Mike White, but Murray Bartlett was pretty much the reason The White Lotus season one was so entertaining and a must see. Plus the whole premise of the show was fresh and unique. And I can't remember the actor's name, but I loved the boyfriend of Jennifer Coolidge's character. He was terrific. She started to get on my nerves towards the end of the series.

The new cast is just meh, not a fan of F. Murray Abraham, but because I like Mike White, I'll check it out.

Jennifer Coolidge may have made an appearance in Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next” music video in 2018, but now a few years later the actress is expressing her thanks to the singer for helping jumpstart different opportunities.

While making a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, the late-night host showed Coolidge the impressions that Grande and Chloe Fineman did while on his show. Coolidge shared that after seeing Grande’s impression, it marked the beginning of “a lot of cool things” for her career.

“You should know that it was sort of the beginning of a lot of cool things that happened for me because — I don’t know — I was going through a dead zone, not much was going on,” she told the late-night host. “And then Ariana did this imitation on your show, and you encouraged her, and then this ball got rolling.”

I like that wacky weirdo Aubrey Plaza, but something about following Sydney Sweeney with her feels a little too on the nose. I hope their characters have nothing at all in common.

My aunt and uncle stayed at the San Domenico on their honeymoon back int he 90s - it was not owned by the Four Seasons chain back then.

I don't really remember most people's vacation photos but I do remember that hotel-- the photos were beautiful--- it was an old monastery, IIRC, and had been a "hot" hotel at the turn of last century.

Sanditon was tedious.

1. Especially that daft adolescent girl sucking her thumb.

2. A one hour story stretched over six hours.

3. Theo (Katsopoulos) James has flat coin-slot buttocks.

Will Sharpe was one of the creators of the fabulous mini-series LANDSCAPERS with Olivia Colman and David Threlfall, seen in the US recently on HBO. HIs quirkiness lines up perfectly with Mike White and I hope this leads to more collaborations.

It's probably just the editing, but cinematography seems to have been stepped up a notch from the first season. That shot of Aubrey Plaza wandering through the town looks particularly uncharacteristic.

So Theo James dies by drowning. At least we don't have to be subjected to his bad acting in Season 3.

I don't know if it's because both of the new couples are on the younger side, but the new characters in the trailer aren't grabbing me and I just rolled my eyes at the older playboy arc. Will Sharpe seems stiff in his delivery as well. But, it just might be the trailer, I'm obviously still looking forward to the show. Shame there wasn't any hint of the gay stuff in the trailer either.
