What is the best bassoon concerto? No criteria, just personal preference.
The Weber is the most reflective, but the Mozart overflows with joy. The Françaix offers a modern take.

In German, one'd say "Ich spiele gerne auf der Fleischoboe".
No idea why, despite the lovely alliteration, there's no "Fleischfagott" though.

Everyone knows the Mozart bassoon concerto is the best. I don’t even need to check with my wife on that.
