I feel like gay men tend to have overweight female friends. Tell me about her.
Do you have a fat female friend?

Without gay men, no fat woman would have someone to dance with at a wedding.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | January 17, 2022 5:22 PM |
No, but thanks for your concern.

I have female friends ranging from rail thin to very obese. Two of the big girls got weight loss surgery but have put it back on, one is even bigger now than she was before the surgery. I have some large male friends, too.
Years ago my mother, lord rest her outspoken soul, asked me why I “have so many fat friends”…I had never really thought about it before. I still don’t, really.

I used to but soon realized having hags was not conducive to a well rounded gay experience. Now my only female friends are butch lesbians!

Nope

Don't forget the fat girls parents.
Hoping that, despite copious evidence to the contrary, Hisstopher will turn out to be straight.

R3 just likes to be the pretty skinny bitch standing next to a bunch of dumpy fat girls.

I had a fat female friend and then she got made into a woman's skinsuit. Big dummy!
by Anonymous | reply 13 | January 17, 2022 6:16 PM |
Never had a fat friend male or female and made vicious jokes about fat people until recently when I met a morbidly obese woman on the job and she was one of the smartest most energetic and likable people I'd ever met and after awhile I truly stopped noticing she was so fat.

I have a fat female friend known her for years. Covid has made her even more histrionic and mean. First it was the election now Covid. all she does is rant and, its all gloom and doom. She has gained even more weight this past year. I feel bad for her, but can't stand to be around her anymore.

70% of Americans are overweight, probably everyone in America has a fat friend
by Anonymous | reply 16 | January 17, 2022 6:25 PM |
you all have a fat female friend in me
by Anonymous | reply 17 | January 17, 2022 6:28 PM |
I mean all I have to do is try to look down and there she is!
by Anonymous | reply 18 | January 17, 2022 6:38 PM |
Yes. Her name is Chrissy. I can't get her to get out of my kitchen so I can make a sandwich.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | January 17, 2022 6:48 PM |
R16 is right, was the first thing I thought of - the average person is actually fat now. Kind of depressing but there we are.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | January 17, 2022 6:51 PM |
The fats turn on you quickly. Which is surprising because you wouldn't think they'd be so agile.

Lizzo is great. Too many fat people postpone living their lives until they get thin and then they never get thin and their life…and it’s a myth that big women don’t get guys. Both my brothers have been happily married to big women for decades. They both dated slim women previously. I guess they decided love was more important than looking good in swimwear.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | January 17, 2022 7:04 PM |
R24 but we’re the women thin when they met them?
by Anonymous | reply 24 | January 17, 2022 7:08 PM |
I do not have any great big fat female friends. I don't feel like I'm missing anything.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | January 17, 2022 7:08 PM |
That should be to R24 and “were”
by Anonymous | reply 26 | January 17, 2022 7:08 PM |
No comment.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | January 17, 2022 7:11 PM |
Not really R24.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | January 17, 2022 7:33 PM |
I knew a great big fat person named Frederica.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | January 17, 2022 7:39 PM |
Yes, and she’s (unsuccessfully) had weight loss surgery. Low self esteem, she’s in a bad relationship, but is the nicest, most empathetic person. And her mom’s lesbian to boot.

When I was at high school in the 80s it was the standard situation that gay boys and fat girls would be friends. I'd love to know if that's still the case now that the boys can be out and probably get to have other interests.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | January 17, 2022 7:52 PM |
Those fat girls are non-binaries now, R31.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | January 17, 2022 8:40 PM |
Definitely not. Prereq for friendship is to be fabulous.

R9, I literally spat out my drink when I read that. LOL

I have a fat sister and it hurts me to look at her. But I have a fat butch lesbian friend and I love her to pieces.

I have a close female friend who has had fluctuating weight issues her whole life. I think we bonded in school over cute boys not noticing us. We were outcasts and did not fit into what society deemed as desirable and “normal”. She knows all of my deepest and darkest secrets. She is my person for life and I am hers.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | January 18, 2022 5:00 AM |
She's plus+size, a retired media person, lives in Section 8 housing after some financial setbacks, is 1000 mi. away, sleeps in the daytime, and calls at odd hours. Dysfunctional and very, very fun.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | January 18, 2022 5:11 AM |
Yes and she drinks A LOT of Diet Coke.

[quote]Yes and she drinks A LOT of Diet Coke.
Just imagine how fucking fat she'd be if she didn't.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | January 18, 2022 11:42 AM |
You bet I do. I'm Gay to the bone
by Anonymous | reply 40 | January 18, 2022 11:51 AM |
R39 she would probably be better off if she skipped /replaced the diet soda
by Anonymous | reply 41 | January 19, 2022 5:52 AM |
Yes, several. But I'm with the poster above who said that 70% of adult Americans are obese, which might be only a slight exaggeration. I'm relatively thin, so it's always a bit shocking to be to look down and see piano ankles, tree trunk thighs, rolls of fat spilling over waist bands, etc. I have one quite thin female friend, a few slightly chubby, and several moderately to extremely obese.
