Tom Selleck Is A Piece Of Shyte
All his boasting on that reverse mortgage commercial about how he wouldn't be doing it if it was anything but on the up and up.
Well it seems that company is rife with fraud and other issues and have been issued millions of dollars in fines and they've had to settle multiple lawsuits or big money.

It’s not like he needed the $$. A risky type of commercial to make. What a sleezebag.

Of course, he's a nozzle, but I do find it interesting that he'd shill for them.
He was a gigantic star at his height, yet he's only worth a measley $45mm. While nothing to sneeze at, that is not nearly what actors who hit big a few years later make. He was only making $500K per episode. Now granted, adjusting for inflation that would be roughly $1.2 million today.
In comparison, by 2000 each of the Friends were making $750K per episode and the final two seasons $1mm per episode. PLUS, they each earn about 2% on syndication, getting them another $20mm PER YEAR.

That's nice R3 but did he ever stab John Posey in the back and force little Tyler to eat out of a dumpster????

Stop believing those celebrity net worth sites! They are meaningless.
But I will also point out that a $1.1 million fine is peanuts so will assume the infractions were not that significant.

i've always wondered about the rules on reverse mortgages. The ads say you own your home while you live in it. Does that mean that when you go into a nursing home type situation they take your home then, or only when you die? I imagine there's a limit to how long you can be in extended care before they get your home. Six, eight weeks?
