Second season of Cheer on Netflix

I searched for a Cheer thread and found none! Is anyone watching season 2? It's pretty fascinating--much deeper than season 1.

by Anonymousreply 103February 3, 2022 8:07 AM

I really love how they're showing the impact of fame on the Navarro kids since season 1. And think producers were clever in elevating the rivalry with Trinity. Also, interesting back stories on a lot of the kids.

by Anonymousreply 2January 14, 2022 4:23 PM

Haven't started watching it yet, but I will. I'm curious how they handle the arrest of one of their member for possessing child porn.

by Anonymousreply 3January 14, 2022 5:20 PM

Four episodes in. Again, it's a fascinating show even without the upcoming pandemic and Jerry's arrest. I also like seeing how everyone's dealing with their fame

by Anonymousreply 4January 15, 2022 8:57 AM

Navarro has so many flaming queens. Trinity has mostly straight guys, who are much cuter.

by Anonymousreply 5January 15, 2022 11:07 AM

I really like Maddi Brum from Navarro. She is genuine and honest and a great cheerleader.

by Anonymousreply 6January 15, 2022 11:24 AM

Yeah Maddie is great.

by Anonymousreply 7January 15, 2022 12:06 PM

Both of those schools could not look anymore depressing. Its giving a minimum security prison vibe. And that cafeteria food. Yikes. And why is there no sign of life, students, etc at either one? It's creepy.

by Anonymousreply 8January 15, 2022 6:42 PM

I need Vontae's big black cock in me quite deeply.

by Anonymousreply 9January 15, 2022 6:52 PM

R8, part of it is because of Covid shutdowns. They went online. Also, they are community colleges not universities.

by Anonymousreply 10January 15, 2022 7:36 PM

I’m six episodes in, very interesting season, especially with Monica and her squad navigating their newfound fame while preparing for competition.

From what they’ve shown, I much prefer Monica’s coaching style and approaches to Vontae’s. He seems to do a LOT of screaming and cursing at his squad. And what’s with his squad’s version of Navarro’s “We Can — We Will — We Must!” chant that ends with them chanting “fuck ‘em!” to judges?! Nice sportsmanship!

There was a little moment early on that illustrated the difference between Monica and Vontae: Monica and her assistant coach Andy (who’s so cute, like a low-key, less-thirsty Steve Grand!) were talking and he asked someone nearby to get his red pen. “Please!” Monica said, and then Andy said to the person “Please, sorry!” So you’ve got Monica reminding of the importance of please and thank-you, while Vontae is cursing at his team and gloating over a basketball game victory.

Jeron on Vontae’s team is very likable and appealing, but that girl (Jada) is foul-mouthed and obnoxious. WAAAY too much makeup, too, even by Texas cheerleading standards!

The sad and shocking Jerry situation was covered well. Without divulging too much, some of the folks they interviewed were interesting.

Agreed with the posters above that Maddy Brum is an interesting subject.

by Anonymousreply 11January 15, 2022 7:56 PM

Andy is definitely a hottie, and he was a wonderful cheerleader. He's from Quebec, so that's why you hear a little accent.

by Anonymousreply 12January 15, 2022 8:04 PM

I want to know what people think of the 5th episode “Jerry.”

Tell me your thoughts about those twins.

by Anonymousreply 13January 15, 2022 8:06 PM

In general I find identical twins who dress alike and have the same hairstyle etc pretty creepy. These boys were no exception. That said I do think they were telling the basic truth.

by Anonymousreply 14January 15, 2022 10:15 PM

But what happened to Andy though? He's MIA.

by Anonymousreply 15January 16, 2022 1:23 AM

The twins seemed utterly creepy. Their entire affect was bizarre. The fact that they are on a reality show talking about their run-in with a pathetic loser is very strange. The mother seems like a Basic Karen, using this pathetic incident to get them all famous and amass victim points is odd -- she's all over twitter now picking fights with Gabi. Also, they never let Jerry actually speak, and instead we are treated to a montage of his most flamboyant and stereotypically gay moments, as the twins mechanically repeat their traumatic experience. That seemed homophobic to me. That said, if Jerry wasn't stopped he would eventually become some kind of coach and continued his creep.

by Anonymousreply 16January 16, 2022 1:31 AM

I know, right. But Andy does run his own gyms and businesses.

I developed a slight crush on Trinity’s coach Kris (with the beard). If he shaved his beard, he would look tons better.

by Anonymousreply 17January 16, 2022 2:06 AM

Agree with everything you said R16. I actually felt like Gabi’s reaction was very genuine - it was assumed by all these hysterics that everyone should cut Jerry off immediately and I liked that she said he’s her family and it’s not that simple.

I couldn’t stand that victims rights attorney (who let Larry Nasser finger her anus until she was 25 and in law school) who went off on what Monica should have said. Like Monica owes everyone some statement immediately.

Too bad Jerry immediately cooperated and confessed everything to the FBI. I wonder if he had a lawyer - I bet he waived it.

The whole episode just left me feeling strange - maybe because of the clips they showed like you said and the twins who were bizarre.

Very sad situation. 15 year mandatory minimum.

by Anonymousreply 18January 16, 2022 2:06 AM

R16 you're delusional dude. Jerry is a predator, and admitted to being a predator.

by Anonymousreply 19January 16, 2022 2:07 AM

Season 2 should have been about how 15 minutes of fame can ruin your life. All of the main characters from S1 clearly sold themselves out. It's actually sad.

by Anonymousreply 20January 16, 2022 2:11 AM

Gabby never sold herself out. She has been a cheerlebrity since she was young. She’s seems like a lovely person.

by Anonymousreply 21January 16, 2022 2:36 AM

Gabby’s parents were the overbearing ones.

by Anonymousreply 22January 16, 2022 2:38 AM

How is Gabi still able to go to a two year school? Is she just taking one class per semester?

James was so broken up over his friend Jerry’s crimes. I offer to condole him.

by Anonymousreply 23January 16, 2022 6:55 PM

Damn!

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 24January 16, 2022 6:58 PM

R23, because of the Covid year, each person had an extra year of eligibility. I believe Gabby graduated with an AA before coming back, but in community college one can always go for an extra AA.

Gabby is now at a 4 year university, Weber State, which is the NCA National Grand Champion.

by Anonymousreply 25January 16, 2022 7:15 PM

I thought the mother of the twins was fine, but the victim's rights attorney was a bitch. Jerry wasn't trying to tip off anyone to his little hobby and it's not like it was taking place at Navarro. The grandstanding about it by the attorney was obnoxious--particularly as Jerry Harris has been in jail for more than a year awaiting trial.

I'm halfway through, hope things lighten up a bit, so far it's been pretty grim compared to Season 1, but that's not surprising given COVID and the arrest.

by Anonymousreply 26January 17, 2022 9:19 AM

Agreed, R26. I thought both the twins and their mother were fine. Their lawyer lost me when she said she didn’t feel bad for Monica because she didn’t make a statement saying she stood with the victims.

by Anonymousreply 27January 17, 2022 12:06 PM

That girl who didn't make it was fat.

by Anonymousreply 28January 17, 2022 5:02 PM

That Jada girl is a cunt.

by Anonymousreply 29January 17, 2022 10:31 PM

I hope they're done with Lard'arious, so much drama.

by Anonymousreply 30January 17, 2022 10:33 PM

Are Navarro and TVCC the only two teams competing in that thing?

by Anonymousreply 31January 17, 2022 10:38 PM

I couldn’t stand Jada — SO obnoxious! Her foul-mouthed pep talks were ridiculous!

by Anonymousreply 32January 18, 2022 12:48 AM

I agree but absolutely gorgeous.

by Anonymousreply 33January 18, 2022 1:05 AM

R31, yes, they are only two teams competing at large co-Ed community college division. Let’s face it. Many community college cheer teams suck and are not at their level in terms of funding and talent.

by Anonymousreply 34January 18, 2022 10:05 AM

Considering how tough Navarro and TVCC routines are are does that mean 4 year college teams are even better than that??

I think one thing this doc does really well is shows how hard this level of cheering is. They film great shots from cool angles and it’s obvious the filmmakers have a lot of respect for the sport.

by Anonymousreply 35January 18, 2022 11:48 AM

Dee, the homophobic little black dude on Trinity Valley's team, was really hot. Even though he was a midget, he had nice proportions and a great body. Trinity Valley looks like a complete shithole - I thought Navarro looked dull in Season 1 but my god!

Same, R30. Even though La'Darius is hot, I've kind of had enough of him. He's obviously mentally unstable, one minute calling Monica an abuser to hundreds of thousands of people online and then saying to her in private that he didn't mean it. That just isn't good enough. I'd have preferred to see more of James, a tall, sensible guy at Navarro (see R24).

by Anonymousreply 36January 18, 2022 12:53 PM

This season had everything, even a former "Toddlers and Tiaras" girl.

by Anonymousreply 37January 18, 2022 8:28 PM

La'Darius is still making various accusations online. He's got some serious, serious issues. My armchair psychologist take is that he's projecting some of his massive maternal abandonment issues on Monica when she left to do Dancing with the Stars and then had a very young assistant coach come in of whom he was clearly jealous and saw as kind of a favored child. It all seems to have spiraled out from there.

It's been a depressing season to watch (I have two episodes left), but kind of shows the limits of what even a happy ending can do. Success doesn't heal a traumatic childhood. I hope La'Darius gets help.

by Anonymousreply 38January 19, 2022 12:58 AM

r35, not necessarily. Navarro has won the NCA grand championships a number of times. Grand champion means that team had the highest score of all teams regardless of division.

by Anonymousreply 39January 19, 2022 3:38 AM

Am I wrong, or did that Trinity coach tell one of the male cheerleaders to go up a size in pants because his big cock was too distracting?

by Anonymousreply 40January 19, 2022 2:33 PM

The one white dude on Trinity's team who always did the motivational speeches was annoying. I felt embarrassed for him. I liked the second season but can't imagine a third...unless they get away from Navarro (Monica!!!!!) and Trinity.

by Anonymousreply 41January 19, 2022 4:43 PM

Yeah, I think they’ve done Texas cheer. Time to move on.

by Anonymousreply 42January 19, 2022 4:52 PM

I agree about the white Trinity guy, R41. He was kinda my type (blond, beard, slim) and I thought he was cute but he was way too intense and seemed a bit deranged.

I also think that they either need to leave Navarro or start assuming that the audience already knows that Monica is a tough coach. That point was belabored.

by Anonymousreply 43January 19, 2022 4:53 PM

THAT was the $100K stage that Monica wanted?

by Anonymousreply 44January 19, 2022 5:55 PM

I want to see more of Maddy Brum. That’s why I’d love a 3rd season.

by Anonymousreply 45January 19, 2022 11:40 PM

I think the coach told him he was too fat for the pants he had on R40.

by Anonymousreply 46January 19, 2022 11:47 PM

The filmmakers tried, but the TVCC team just aren't as interesting to follow as the Novarro cheerleaders. Monica's a more interesting character than the two men running TVCC, though Vonte's fun to look at.

Honestly, I want to see a third season with Maddie that's less grim than this season. Wouldn't mind an episode that followed around some of the "graduates" a bit more--see Gaby Butler cheering at that college I've never heard of. I could probably do without Jerry Harris' trial, though.

by Anonymousreply 47January 20, 2022 6:52 AM

Is anyone else having issues with the audio and video on episode 8 being totally out of sync???

by Anonymousreply 48January 22, 2022 12:17 AM

No, R48.

by Anonymousreply 49January 22, 2022 1:00 AM

R48, yes. I ended up bluetoothing to a sound bar and synchronized my phone’s Netflix app with the tv running the episode from Roku.

by Anonymousreply 50January 22, 2022 7:44 AM

R40, I got the same impression as you did. The pants were too tight and too stuffed in the crotch.

Jerry’s behavior is reprehensible. He clearly needs time in prison to reflect and rehabilitate. The fact his activity is not confined to the twins and is focused on children as young as ten is the mark of mental issues. That said, the Jerry situation is nothing like Larry Nasser.

Cheerleading is a sexualized environment overall. My BFF was sucking off his 25 yo cheer coach at 14 years of age in the late 80s, enjoyed it then and doesn’t regret it now. Adult content is readily available to people at all ages on their phones. I found the pearl clutching tiresome.

I believe the twins were telling the truth. I do wonder how traumatized they actually are, why the kid felt the need to flirt in the first place, give up a butt pic, meet Jerry in a bathroom ALONE, what else mom might have found on his phone and how successful a cash payment would have been to have Karen go away if the gym had taken swifter action in the first place.

I feel like women are reacting to this story through the lens of their past victim hood. They clearly don’t understand how being a young male and gay, in particular, is different.

I find it funny these parents are all fired up to protect children, but they dress them as adults in skimpy and tight clothing, allow them to execute slutty choreo, fail to monitor their phones, and give the kids ample room to be preyed upon.

Terrible look for the governing bodies, though. They have to investigate these matters promptly. I do agree that care should be taken to separate the adults from the children on teams. It might help to mitigate the environment I describe above. Young horny hardbodies in the presence of hot hardbodies 4-5 years their senior in cavernous gyms and away on competition trips makes inappropriate behavior too likely.

Pivoting to TVCC coach Khris Franklin…I found his living situation odd. Maybe everything’s as it was depicted, but I wonder if he’s the child’s bio dad or if he is in a relationship with his BFF and his wife.

by Anonymousreply 51January 22, 2022 8:25 AM

I got the impression Khris has mental health issues and the people he lives with really are a surrogate family.

by Anonymousreply 52January 22, 2022 8:49 AM

R52, never thought of it that way. Totally plausible. Thank you.

by Anonymousreply 53January 22, 2022 9:08 AM

I’d like to add that I would think Khris’ personality clashes uncomfortably with Vontae’s. The two are both passionate people but they go about it different ways you know what I mean? Khris is the creative detail oriented eye for presentation type. Vontae is all about emotional discipline and hard work.

by Anonymousreply 54January 22, 2022 11:23 AM

Yeah, the Khris living situation was odd. You just know the producers were like, “JACKPOT!” when they found out about that.

by Anonymousreply 55January 22, 2022 12:46 PM

I don’t find the producers that exploitive to be honest. There’s a lot there but I think they present it respectfully.

by Anonymousreply 56January 22, 2022 2:13 PM

I thought the second season was even better than the first. It was like the second act of Into the Woods where they had to pay for the highs achieved in the first act. The opening scene of Monica sitting at her desk looking utterly dejected was a great way to introduce the season.

I did hate how Andy Cosferant just disappeared without a word of explanation. He obviously would have been a much better stand-in for coaching the team with Monica off at DWTS.

by Anonymousreply 57January 22, 2022 2:28 PM

I thought the stuff with Jerry was handled well. It wasn’t minimized and his teammates and coaches seemed aware of how fucked up it was, but they acknowledged their mixed feelings in mature and thoughtful ways. The only thing I didn’t like was when Monica revealed that he thought he could be a motivational speaker. I thought that was kicking someone when they were down. But I have a problem with making excuses for poor behavior, so I’m probably too sympathetic regarding Jerry. I also thought it was especially disappointing because he looked like he had lost weight it seemed like he might have really been able to leverage his popularity and create a real career.

The lawyer was a bitch.

I didn’t completely follow the storyline about Monica going off to be on Dancing With the Stars. Was than while cheerleading was shit down for COVID, or did she desert those kids in the middle of a season? If she did, that’s pretty fucked up. It’s not like those kids were recruited to Harvard and will have three other years of competition and Ivy League degrees to fall back on. Community college is only two years and those kids are there ONLY to train with Monica.

by Anonymousreply 58January 22, 2022 2:31 PM

R57, I agree about Andy. A) He is cute, so I wanted to see more of him. B) He merited at least an explanation for why he was no longer around. C) He would have been MUCH better to deputize for Monica (having already been her assistant) than that dull girl.

by Anonymousreply 59January 22, 2022 2:41 PM

I think Vontae and Kris complement each other.

by Anonymousreply 60January 22, 2022 4:52 PM

LaDarius has plenty to say. Questionable motives, but confidently delivered.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 61January 22, 2022 5:31 PM

La'Darius can say two totally contradictory things with the same level of confidence. It's the boy who cried wolf - even when he might actually be right, you still can't believe him.

by Anonymousreply 62January 22, 2022 5:34 PM

The one problem I have with this show is we follow these kids and their routine for a whole season and then when they finally perform the damn thing it's edited so badly we can't see it. I know Varsity doesn't allow other professional crews to film, but people in the stands film the entire thing. I have to go on Youtube to find it.

I realize the producers would say it isn't about the routine it's about all this other stuff, but for god's sake could we see what they actually worked so hard on without the frenetic half-second shots?

I read somewhere that Andy disappeared without comment because he was having relationships with cheerleaders. I don't know if that's true or not.

by Anonymousreply 63January 22, 2022 5:36 PM

La’Darius has emotion regulation issues so he swings pretty wildly which is tough to deal with for himself and those around him. To some degree I really don’t think he can help it.

[quote] I think Vontae and Kris complement each other

I think they do professionally but I’m not sure interpersonally.

by Anonymousreply 64January 22, 2022 5:38 PM

R63, I doubt that's true.

by Anonymousreply 65January 22, 2022 5:55 PM

[quote]I read somewhere that Andy disappeared without comment because he was having relationships with cheerleaders.

Male or female?

by Anonymousreply 66January 22, 2022 6:29 PM

[quote]Season 2 should have been about how 15 minutes of fame can ruin your life.

This certainly felt true for Monica.

S1 Monica was tough, unapologetic, commanded respect and was, for the most part (and until the series debuted), revered.

S2 Monica seemed sad, fragile and nervous... like she was second-guessing every thing she did and word she said in front of the camera, for fear of being attacked and vilified. And, after the simultaneous love/hate she got from the world after S1, this isn't really surprising. The fame tsunami completely swallowed her and spat her out. I felt bad for her.

The entire second season of the show felt like Navarro getting its teeth kicked in, one thing after the next, with Monica treading water throughout.

As for TVCC, I think the problem there -- in terms of the show and creating compelling drama -- was a lack of likeable characters for the audience to root for, and what seemed to be a largely joyless team. The coaches and Jeron were great, but Dee? Jada? The weird blonde guy with the bad speeches? I didn't like any of them.

Also, as an aside, I think Navarro's James and TVCC's Jeron would make an ADORABLE couple.

by Anonymousreply 67January 22, 2022 6:54 PM

R67. Two flaming bottoms wouldn't make a great couple.

Andy is straight. He already has a girlfriend, some woman originally from Colombia.

by Anonymousreply 68January 22, 2022 7:14 PM

[quote] Andy is straight. He already has a girlfriend, some woman originally from Colombia.

So Andy’s Catholic. The rest is still undecided.

by Anonymousreply 69January 22, 2022 7:25 PM

^ Romania, where his roots are, is largely Orthodox and - à propos de rien - one of the most conservative EU countries with regard to homosexuality.

by Anonymousreply 70January 22, 2022 7:29 PM

They stretched this season out. The last four episodes were weak. They needed a better editor. Too much repetition, too little content. Yet, I hate how they edit the competition performances to death. They're only four or so minutes. Let us just watch them in full without the smoke and mirrors.

I think it's kind of funny how bargain basement Trinity comes across next to Navarro. I chuckled when they won. There wasn't much of a narrative buildup to it, or at least I wasn't vibing whatever they were doing. I don't think they got into the personal stories much after they got passed covid and the Jerry drama, much to the detriment of the doco. I didn't feel attached to any of the new people. And Jada was so ratchet.

One of the main dramas of the season was whether or not a straight dude would smile, which he likened to acting gay. AND HE NEVER ENDED UP SMILING and his team won anyway. lmao. I wonder if the Trinity win was manipulated as a set-up for Season 3 (Navarro redemption).

And, poor Gillian. Is she gonna be okay? You'd think she killed someone and will never forgive herself.

[quote]Tell me your thoughts about those twins.

Brave, articulate, and wise beyond their years, R13. But, what a strange question.

[quote]they never let Jerry actually speak

His lawyers wouldn't allow him, R16.

by Anonymousreply 71January 23, 2022 8:59 AM

Someone needs to remind "smiling is gay" kid that he is a fucking cheerleader.🙄

by Anonymousreply 72January 23, 2022 2:29 PM

R58 I believe it was Jerry, in the letter he wrote to Monica, where he talked about becoming a motivational speaker and Monica's reaction was pretty much an eye roll.

by Anonymousreply 73January 23, 2022 2:51 PM

Why has Jerry been in detention awaiting trial for 2 years now? Are the courts that backed up? I assume he would take some sort of plea considering he spilled everything to the FBI.

by Anonymousreply 74January 23, 2022 2:55 PM

It’s CHEERS silly.

by Anonymousreply 75January 23, 2022 3:14 PM

He was not eligible to be released on bond. Serious danger.

by Anonymousreply 76January 23, 2022 4:36 PM

R72, I hear you. I used to go back to my alma mater to cheer with fellow alumni. I met one man who said he never cheered. He was a stunter so talented that the coaches allowed him never to make arm motions. I found it so odd. It was lost on him what a privilege it is to cheer on a D1A football field and how many people would have loved the chance to take his place.

by Anonymousreply 77January 23, 2022 7:37 PM

[quote] I believe it was Jerry, in the letter he wrote to Monica, where he talked about becoming a motivational speaker and Monica's reaction was pretty much an eye roll.

Her reaction struck me as disbelief at his denial. At one point she put her hand to her throat when she responded to a producer’s question about Jerry’s future. I do not think she was eye rolling at all. But I like Monica so.

by Anonymousreply 78January 23, 2022 8:25 PM

She just understands that Jerry is delusional and not accepting of his reality now.

by Anonymousreply 79January 23, 2022 11:37 PM

I agree with everything everyone said here. It's the small things that I noticed that were validated, like the package on the guy who needed to go a size up. It was clear his cock was bulging.

Monica seemed defeated and the unity of Navarro seemed shaky. It really is amazing how quickly fame comes and goes and what effect if has. It was interesting to watch Monica tread water. I think she wanted it all - she wanted to advance her own career, she wanted the kids to make the most of the moment, but it's easy to get sucked in.

I thought the episode with the twins was effective but off. It was interesting because they or the mom would say something traumatic and then they would gut to the boys in almost sexualized still photos or videos. I thought I the twin on the left who did the most talking said something like, "I wanted to be the star of Cheer by telling the truth". Who knows - bottom line they were 13 and Jerry should not have gone there. And the lawyer - what educated woman of 25 would let their MD finger their asshole and vadge, trauma or not?

by Anonymousreply 80January 24, 2022 4:41 AM

I do think some people can grow up to be shockingly naive because of growing up in a small bubble. Dancers can be like that so it makes sense gymnasts can be too. But some of that rage that lawyer feels is super misplaced. I guess she feels by holding onto her anger it enables her to be a tougher lawyer or something,

by Anonymousreply 81January 24, 2022 9:19 AM

No one I know has watched Season Two (Philistines!) so I really can’t discuss with anyone — that’s why the comments on this thread have been interesting to me.

I’m glad to see that folks here seem to be finding Jada as obnoxious as I do. Her foul-mouthed speeches and aggressiveness were really off-putting.

And that blond TVCC guy with his weirdly intense pre-routine pep talks — what the hell?!

Would like to have seen a little more of the TVCC guy who did the martial arts moves (and not just because of his bulge!) He seemed like one of the few likable ones on the team.

by Anonymousreply 82January 24, 2022 3:27 PM

Jada SCREAMING at the other kids with her inspirational speeches was so obnoxious my goddddd. Amazing no one told her to shut the fuck up the first time she pulled that shit.

by Anonymousreply 83January 24, 2022 4:13 PM

^^ I suspect she thought those speeches would be received like Jerry’s “mat talk” in S1.

She was mistaken.

by Anonymousreply 84January 24, 2022 5:11 PM

Good call on Jada’s obnoxious rants vs. Jerry’s inspirational speeches, R84!

by Anonymousreply 85January 24, 2022 5:31 PM

Just saw the part where Monica swaps out that little Boston girl for the other random girl because the stunt wasn't working and the Boston girl starts hysterical sobbing like a maniac. That did seem like something they should have warned her about instead of embarrassing her on camera to get a reaction. They are just kids.

I like Boston girl because she had no tolerance for her loser dad in a jail and she dropped as a casual aside that her mother was arrested in the school parking lot for stealing license plates. She has a good backstory.

The Jada backstory seemed nonexistent (her parent almost got divorced and she had a tumbling "block") but they really tried to play it up to make her more compelling. The Boston girl felt like she had more like a season 1 type situation where you understood why this ridiculous cheerleading shit was so important to her.

La'Darius is difficult to watch this season. He's so damaged and oppositional and seems ready to completely lose his shit at any moment. I would hate to have to deal with him.

by Anonymousreply 86January 24, 2022 6:15 PM

R86, and it seemed that Andy took delight in the demotion. It was very shitty the way they communicated the reset in formation.

by Anonymousreply 87January 24, 2022 10:25 PM

You do what’s best for the team. I couldn’t care less about your feelings.

by Anonymousreply 88January 25, 2022 3:13 AM

I could.

by Anonymousreply 89January 25, 2022 6:39 AM

Jada sometimes reminded me of the head cheerleader head mean girl. She had a potty mouth and could be obnoxious but she is also really good looking with a great body. So she can say shit like, you guys better win this! To the basketball team and they don’t tell her to fuck off. At times I kind of liked her genuinely even tho I doubt I would in real life.

The second season is stellar. Why doesn’t it have any buzz whatsoever? I actually this it’s superior to the first season which was a phenomenon. I don’t get it.

There is going to a Cheer tour, oproduced by cutie Andy himself! I am going!

Yes I got really into the 2nd season I agree.

Was glad trinity valley ended up winning. That nasty comment Monica made about the tumbling kid after the preliminary routines was nasty. They showed her.

Liked Vontae a lot.

Felt bad for that little anorexic Jill who fell and lost them the win. Their *sobbing* was so extra when they lost - that little girl must have felt horrible.

Ladariuses and Xaviers are always nutjobs! 🥜

Jada is being excluded by sponsor Rebel athletic from cast appearances because of her language on the show. She did curse a lot. ONTD thinks it’s racism even tho other Black athletes are prominently featured in cast photos etc.

I guarantee Jerry suffers from arrested development from sexual trauma as a child. Grown men are scary to abuse victims when they themselves grow up. Virginal tweens are not threatening therefore can become targets. It's not about being a predator, it's about wanting to be sexual but feel safe. You could see how immature he was on the show. He acted like a teenager,

I don’t blame promo event organizers from not wanting Jada there — she had a filthy mouth and a stank attitude!

And her pussy fucking stinks!!!!!!!

[quote] I do think some people can grow up to be shockingly naive because of growing up in a small bubble.

Some of the gymnasts didn’t even know they were being abused until they were told.

Did Jerry fondle or have sex with the teen?

by Anonymousreply 101February 3, 2022 2:22 AM

Jerry did not have sexual contact. He asked for nudes (which one of the twins sent him) and asked for a hook up the next time they saw each other.

by Anonymousreply 102February 3, 2022 4:59 AM

Jerry admitted to sexual contact with other underage boys.
