I understand that was the height of the COVID pandemic, but the treatment I got was still abysmal.

Tbh I have been worried it’s GB, but considering that weekly shots of cobalamin (which my misogynistic GO finally and reluctantly condescended to try on me) seem to keep symptoms in abeyance, it’s likely that the B12 deficiency that causes or accelerates the neuropathy is the end result of another condition.

Though the B12 shots have restored my nerve feeling and taken away pain as well as significantly calmed my anxiety, I have other slightly uncomfortable and weird symptoms that persist or that have emerged, including: cold extremities; dry and itching skin; bouts of insomnia or palpitations/racing heart; petechiae: occasional nosebleeds (not painful gushers, just a bit I can’t feel every now and then); chapping lips; facial hair growth (I’m a woman, not ideal); cloudy white marks at the beds of my nails; needing to urinate a night (and not releasing everything at once), and; intermittent pains in my lumbar & left back side (around the ovary/kidney area). I’m concerned that I have lasting inflammation damage, or something like that, but getting to see a medic who will actually agree to run comprehensive tests is tough (and no, I don’t have the money for private, before anyone says it). I’m under 35 and otherwise healthy/basically fit, so I shouldn’t be having issues like this yet.
