What is Lange's most nuanced performance? Not her biggest or showiest or most beloved by the gays, but her most human.
Jessica Lange's Most Delicate Performance

King Kong. She subtly delineated all the nuances between Dwan's terror, growing trust for her kidnapper and finally love for him, who ultimately turned out to be the captor...of her HEART.

In television:
As Joan Crawford in "Feud: Bette and Joan"
Blanche DuBois in "A Streetcar Named Desire"
And several of her roles in American Horror Story
Jessica is simply brilliant. The finest actress of our time.

In "Big Fish," when Jessica climbs into Albert Finney's bath and weeps, "I don't think I'll ever dry out," I lose it every time. Such a quiet, tender moment.

Wasn't it Jack Nicholson who described Lange as a fawn crossed with a Buick. She seems delicate but she's stronger than the rest of us. She's the real thing. I wish she'd made more films but she made more films but she was more interested in raising babies, as so many females are. Out=r loss..

Tootsie. She had a real softness and sweetness about her here.
