Acapulco on Apple TV+

If you liked Red Oaks you will like this.

Set at a resort in Acapulco in the 80s

Gay and lesbian story lines.

Lead actor, Enrique Arrizon, is very cute. (He is at link, not the guy in the preview thumbnail)

It's a comedy and many DLers will appreciate the 80s music and fashions throughout.

My husband and I love this show. I particularly appreciate their clear Spanish diction...most times I don't need the subtitles because they speak clearly.

Trouty mouth looks like he fucked with his face though.

I like this show, it has a feel good factor without being cloying.

[quote] Which character are you referring to as "Trouty mouth"?

Trouty Mouth is a reference to Chord Overstreet's character in Glee, Sam Evans. On this show, he plays Chad.

Who is the audience for this? Is it a white persons idea of what actual Mexicans want to watch and they dumbed it down thinking that they’re not sophisticated enough to watch a sitcom done in a contemporary American style? I’m on my third episode and about to give up because it’s like cable access level of acting and production?
