R28 I used to write for a few different high-profile publications and I got a lot of gushy messages from people telling me how great I am, etc. I'm the sort of person who is made uncomfortable by flattery, but it still boosted my confidence and kind of puffed me up. People who work out and show off their bodies inevitably get 500 times the positive attention any writer gets, and to do that, you have to be pretty narcissistic to begin with. It strikes me as a pretty bad combination of factors, doing porn and being available online to receive gratuotous flattery from any fanatical person with a boner for you.
