When did Charles Levin's career go straight down the shitter?

He was given a golden opportunity (ha-ha), but wasn't able to take advantage of it.

R2, wow. The Bea Arthur curse strikes again!

by Anonymousreply 3January 8, 2022 12:15 PM

They could've brought him back as another character.

by Anonymousreply 4January 13, 2022 3:07 AM

Wasn't he replaced by that actor who starred with Jodie Foster in The Little Girl Who Lives in the Lane?

by Anonymousreply 5January 13, 2022 3:14 AM

I can’t imagine living to 70 years of age and dying like this. Just horrific. He must have suffered terribly.

by Anonymousreply 6January 14, 2022 12:08 AM

I hated Rob & Bob too

by Anonymousreply 7January 14, 2022 12:14 AM

His death was seriously tragic and shocking.

by Anonymousreply 8January 14, 2022 12:17 AM

Couldn't "Empty Nest" have thrown him a bone?

[quote]In the end, The Golden Girls went on to feature guest LGBTQ+ characters, as well as tackle major topics like AIDS during the AIDS crisis.

HIs career went downhill after he married Vera Louise Gorman.

by Anonymousreply 11January 14, 2022 12:28 AM

Omg I forgot he was Elliott

I, too, think this was a good decision. Because it turned out that food, and the different female castmembers' various cravings, cooking, late-night serving, and love of it, overseen by themselves, ended up being iconic parts of the shows' episodes and famous scenes that got them -- and us loving viewers -- through a lot of tense and comedic outcomes.

by Anonymousreply 13January 14, 2022 3:35 AM

Did they consider bringing him home onto the Golden Palace.

by Anonymousreply 14January 14, 2022 3:52 AM

I get him confused with John Rothman.

by Anonymousreply 15January 14, 2022 8:36 AM

R4 They could have brought him back as Coco, just as s reoccurring character such as their neighbor. They pretty much did that with Stan. Or Susan Harris could have cast him in Empty Nest or Nurses.

by Anonymousreply 16January 14, 2022 8:44 AM

He wouldn't suck my cock.

by Anonymousreply 17January 14, 2022 9:08 AM

He refused to get his tits out for the audition
