I could picture something like this going down: Reischl *was* cast in the snobby, rich-girl role, but was forced to drop out at the 11th hour (due to GM contract). They looked at Lisa (who'd already been cast) and thought: "Well, let's just make her the stuck-up, rich girl". (because they had seen that she could pull it off).
