I think it boils down to three things:

1) None of Mark’s crimes seem to include a woman. At least not one that’s willing to talk. If he had one DV issue Men Are Shit Twitter would make sure to bring it up every once in awhile which would provoke a few thinkpieces. Older Asian men aren’t a protected class so it’s not likely to trend.

2) Mark has kept his nose clean for the better part of two decades. Played the game, not gotten in any trouble, no real relationship drama — just does his movies, works out, and plays golf. 3) Mark isn’t part of the Woke brigade. He’s not always out there moral grandstanding so he isn’t a target. If he was on his high horse there might be more incentive to knock him off.
