I worked with a trans person for several years, she was a hairdresser and WOW some of the guys attracted to her were very hot and straight adjacent. They came in all shapes and sizes and a few were hauntingly beautiful. The thing is, she didn’t pass at all, was loud and mannish and domineering with a very “In your face” attitude and affect. There were several attractive gay guys that worked there as well but her clients didn’t seem to notice anyone but her. I’ll give it to her that her makeup and hair was always on point, she could carry (and direct) a decent conversation, and she knew how to dress in a way that wasn’t especially effeminate, but minimized her masculine features.
