The next time you sneeze and someone says "god bless you"

You know how you hate someone shoving their religion in your face, well people also hate having you shove your none belief in religion in their faces. Let it pass, you aren't going to change them and you just look like an ass.

With that out of the way, there is a large difference between "Have a blessed day" and a simple "God bless you" after a sneeze. The former I smile at. The latter I say "Thanks" to because it is a commonplace expression of good intention, like "Goodbye."

When you sneeze, your heart actually stops for a second. That's why people say "god bless you" But yeah, I hate it when people say that. I hear Gesundheit a lot more these days. Such a weird custom when you think about it. No one says anything when you fart.
