A great number of people are dead to me

WaPo's trip down enternal memory lane... many big and well known names... if I knew I'd forgotten about Ned Beatty, Beverly Cleary, Cicely Tyson, Hal Holbrook and was reminded (and recalled threads) about Christopher Plummer, Larry King.

I'm so lucky to have seen Cicely Tyson lecture at Western Washington University in the Spring of 1979. She was brilliant. There was a question/answer session from the audience. At one point Cicely said, "I am remiss. I told you you could ask any question you wished. I didn't say I would answer it." Or something along those lines.
