Lindsay Lohan wasn't even very good in The Parent Trap, especially compared to Hayley Mills in the original. What was so brilliant about Hayley was you always knew which twin she was playing, even when one twin was impersonating the other. She was brilliant at nuance. (Ditto for Patty Duke on her tv show).

Lindsay? I gave up halfway thru the movie. Lindsay plays every character the same. She's one of the most self-conscious actresses I've ever seen.
