I thought that when they left Motown they forfeited all future royalties. That was the way motown functioned with all fo their artists who wanted to be released.

I believe that Katherine's share of MJ's estate goes back to his three children when she passes. I recall that from the public details of his estate after he died. It's why some of the Jacksons have endeavored to get as much as they can out of Katherine, since they know that meal ticket will end with her death.

That said, Tito and Marlon aren't in terrible shape. It's Randy and Jermaine who are always in trouble, financially and otherwise. Tito's sons are very close to MJ's kids, his eldest son was named as their co-guardian by the estate when Katherine's health failed several years ago and her age became an issue. That branch will continue to be taken care of by Michael's kids.

Marlon's daughter got some kind of Masters from Harvard a few years ago (from the Chan Public Health School?), so his offspring are educated and have real jobs.
