Maitland Ward blasts Billie Eilish for saying porn is a ‘disgrace’

Maitland Ward is blasting Billie Eilish’s parents after the pop star revealed she started watching hardcore porn at the age of 11.

Ward — who first shot to fame in the 90s sitcom “Boy Meets World” before pivoting to a porn career in 2019 — hit out at Eilish’s elders, accusing them of “abuse” in an interview with TMZ on Tuesday.

“Why was she watching violent porn at age 11? Who was watching over her? Like does she have parental figures in her life?” Ward, 44, raged.

“She should be blaming her parents. That’s abuse. A child should not be watching porn ever at that age.”

Eilish hit headlines earlier this month after telling Howard Stern that porn “destroyed her brain” after she became hooked on X-rated movies while still in elementary school.

“As a woman, I think porn is a disgrace,” Eilish, now 19, told Stern. “I used to watch a lot of porn, to be honest.”

“I think it really destroyed my brain and I feel incredibly devastated that I was exposed to so much porn… It got to a point where I couldn’t watch anything else unless it was violent, I didn’t think it was attractive,” she further confessed.

Ward said Eilish’s comments are “very detrimental” to the porn industry, and she disagreed with the singer’s remarks.

“Porn isn’t something that’s supposed to be sex education for people,” Ward stated. “It’s entertainment for adults and that’s what we do. Also I think she’s too young to make that kind of assessment about porn, sex and everything.”

Ward said she believes that “adults still enjoy” porn.

The sitcom star-cum-adult entertainer made the remarks just three weeks after exclusively dishing details about her forthcoming autobiography to The Post.

Maitland’s memoir —“Rated X: How Porn Liberated Me from Hollywood” — details how she went from “Boys Meets World” to girl-on-girl and an array of other raunchy porn scenarios.

“All the behind-the-scenes info and salacious tales are here,” she told The Post. “I hold nothing back.” Maitland Ward's memoir, “Rated X: How Porn Liberated Me from Hollywood,” will hit bookstores on July 5, 2022. “I have a lot of ‘Boy Meets World’ fans who have followed me all the way through my metamorphosis,” she added calling them “a loving and supportive force.”

Ward said she’s hoping her memoir will give followers — and those unfamiliar with her unlikely journey — a deeper look into what makes her so titillating, in every sense of the word.

It hits bookstores on July 5, 2022.

The Eilish story had already disappeared. Ward is stirring it up again to grab some publicity for her website or something.

ummm do people realize kids have so much access to the internet it is almost virtually impossible to shield them from porn from EARLY ages. You would have to take away all their devices (I’m for that) and never let them have friends.

Kids are given open access to the internet which is insane. Young kids are routinely watching violent porn (which is what is the MOST common now) and there is little to be done. Why are kids given smart phones at all? Stupid ass parents. It is an indictment on ALL parents.

Hol up...what? Porn???

Why, oh why, do these 90s sitcom actors [italic]insist[/italic] on ruining my childhood? First offender was Elizabeth Berkley in Showgirls. I ain't been right since. -_-

Their parents' fault. Children are way too indulged and used to instant gratification these days.

by Anonymousreply 6December 29, 2021 7:15 AM

I remember when Ward was on Bold and the Beautiful playing the innocent Jessica. It's so weird to see her now.

by Anonymousreply 7December 29, 2021 7:16 AM

"These days"

I don't know about that r6. I remember Cinemax becoming quite "problematic" after a certain hour when I was a kid. Clueless parenting isn't exactly a new concept.

by Anonymousreply 8December 29, 2021 7:18 AM

R8, fair enough. But I don't remember parental call-to-arms to ban Cinemax either. The world felt more adult-oriented back then.

by Anonymousreply 9December 29, 2021 7:35 AM

r9 True. I mean, they did the bare minimum censorship for porn channels back then. Scrambled "spice" wasn't a breakfast seasoning.

R3, now Newsweek has picked it up.

Ward has a valid point -- what were Elish's parents doing letting her watch hardcore porn.

Maitland Ward is right. Billie Elish is right.

Porn is a disgrace and yet millions of kids can access it easily. But it is intended only for adults as entertainment. Sadly too many adults cannot tell the difference between what's real and what isn't where porn is involved.

by Anonymousreply 12December 30, 2021 7:41 PM

Haha, the image of fat Billie trying to recreate hardcore porn is amusing.

by Anonymousreply 13December 30, 2021 8:05 PM

I think Billie is a dom top, like Joan Jett.

by Anonymousreply 14December 30, 2021 8:07 PM

Ward was downright homely on Bold and the Beautiful. I bet she had a complete porn makeover. I had no idea she was a porn slut.

by Anonymousreply 15December 30, 2021 8:14 PM

No. She had her nose bobbed by the time of Boy Meets World.

by Anonymousreply 16December 30, 2021 8:17 PM

Ward is really nice in person and I was fortunate to edit her first big feature, "Drive" for Deeper.com. She was such a pleasure to edit because it's rare that a porn person can remember their lines, let alone give a good performance. But yeah, one scene had Angela White pissing all over a glass table then licking it up. It's not sexy or necessary, just fucking gross. Young kids see that and think that's what people do during sex. Some porn even makes ME question what I'm doing.

by Anonymousreply 17December 30, 2021 8:20 PM

Maitland's early makeover was great. I think this shot is from the early 2000s.

There was almost a Chloe Kardassian resemblance at the beginning.

Eilish probably is the type to pull out her pubic hair one by one and then pour vodka on her crotch.

Her unpleasant vibe isn't just her brand. It's from her core. Naturally there is a judgmental cunt salted betwixt the baldness that has to emanate superiority and morality. Ugh.

by Anonymousreply 20December 30, 2021 8:28 PM

Weird how a girl supposedly representative of alternative culture is actually judgmental and quite traditional in her views. Reminds me of someone...

Avril Lavigne

by Anonymousreply 21January 7, 2022 3:37 AM

R7 me too! As a gayling I loved B&B. Can’t believe she does porn now!

by Anonymousreply 22January 7, 2022 3:47 AM

It's obvious Billie was sexually abused by or in an incestuous relationship with her creepy pedo-ey brother Finneas. He gives off Jared Leto pedo vibes. Disgusting.

by Anonymousreply 23January 7, 2022 3:51 AM

I don't understand R20.

by Anonymousreply 24January 7, 2022 3:57 AM

I watched porn as a kid. I watched all the soft porn movies when we had free premium channels in the summer.

I was never once interested in violent porn. I’m still not.

I liked the leather in the dungeon stuff but it was all costume and set. The sex was normal.

Any normal kid exposed to violence wouldn’t think it was normal, they would think it’s disturbing.

by Anonymousreply 25January 7, 2022 4:11 AM

What about fucking her brother?

by Anonymousreply 26January 7, 2022 4:11 AM
He gives off Jared Leto pedo vibes.

Jared Leto is a paedophile?

by Anonymousreply 27January 7, 2022 4:12 AM

Maitland Ward has one of the worst bodies I’ve ever seen. Her ass is one big wrinkled blob of cellulite. Her tits are floppy and look like they have blobs of fat floating in them. She’s not even old.

by Anonymousreply 28January 7, 2022 4:17 AM

R27 Everyone knows about Jared Leto's underage girls. Blech.

by Anonymousreply 29January 7, 2022 7:31 AM

Holy shit, I remember her as Jessica Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful. Her character was boring...I liked her hot love interest though--Dylan Shaw (played by Dylan Neal, who played a gay character on Dawson's Creek).

Oddly enough, her chaaracters main storylines involved sex (statutory rape and rape rape).

by Anonymousreply 30January 7, 2022 8:52 AM
Weird how a girl supposedly representative of alternative culture is actually judgmental and quite traditional in her views.

Actually, given how pornsick everyone (especially men) these days are, the position she’s taking is actually a rebours. Not all forward movement is progressive, and in the case of porn the ubiquity and extreme nature of it has indubitably devolved our culture and humanity.

Also, what is wrong with a judgment when it is based on a considered and compassionate humane viewpoint? Ethics aren’t and shouldn’t be a dirty word. Eilish not invoking the name of Jesus or demanding all porn be banned, so there’s really nothing doctrinaire about what she said.

by Anonymousreply 31January 7, 2022 9:25 AM

It’s obvious Ward would want to double down and defend the industry and vocation that still pays and employs her, particularly as her employability post-porn is likely to be damaged (not rightly, but realistically). She’s deep in, and has over-identified with the product she needs to push (what sexual hypercapitalist objectification does).

This doesn’t mean that said industry isn’t exploitative, isn’t insidiously harmful to consumer and performer alike, and isn’t powered by trafficking and sexual slavery.

by Anonymousreply 32January 7, 2022 9:28 AM

I had to Google her, and then I had to Google her character because I watched Boy Meets World and I don't remember "Rachel McGuire." She was on the later seasons when they went off to college, I think.

by Anonymousreply 33January 7, 2022 9:32 AM

Well that's nothing new. What about John Lydon R21? He came out as sex negative in an interview, and then propped the orange one later on.

by Anonymousreply 34January 7, 2022 9:32 AM

The idea that an opposition to porn is therefore an opposition to sex is a wrongful assumption. They aren’t the same. It’s like saying if someone is pro gratuitous bloodshed in movies then they’re pro gratuitous bloodshed in real life.

by Anonymousreply 35January 7, 2022 9:39 AM

I watched Boys Meets World religiously. She was very bland and boring to me. Her character Rachel was so annoying and added nothing to the show. Like her whole character was there for Eric and Jack to fight over. Thsrs it. Definitely should have been a one-shot character but the writers decided to make her a series regular. The college seasons were not as good as the high school seasons.

by Anonymousreply 36January 7, 2022 9:54 AM

I don't know what the Hell Billie watched but it sure as Hell wasn't gay Czech twink porn!

by Anonymousreply 37January 7, 2022 11:08 AM

There's nothing wrong with porn, but young kids shouldn't be watching it. Especially the violent, misogynistic kind that isn't uncommon in straight porn these days. It warps their thinking in the way sex should be like in real life.

Ward comes off much more reasonable than Eilish does. Eilish comes off as one of those people that have little or no critical thinking skills.

Even some of the most pro-porn porn stars like Nina Hartley, who has been in porn since 1984, has stressed porn sex shouldn't be taken as guide how to have sex in real life. That it's basically like an exaggerated live action cartoon.

by Anonymousreply 38January 7, 2022 1:02 PM

Porn is for adults. A lot of the porn that spams the internet is shitty straight porn that is extremely over-the-top, rapey and gimmicky. As a teen I tried to watch porn. I found a lot of pleasure in those softcore porn movies because it had so many hunky guys in them and while I tolerated straight porn I could only watch vintage. Until I finally embraced gay porn and being gay and again the vintage stuff is much hotter. Teens will always try to find porn because they are developing sexually and are curious. It's uncomfortable but parents need to sit down and talk to their kids about this. Explain it's just a fantasy, it's actors performing a script. It's nothing like reality and should not be emulated. American society in general has an issue with addressing adolescent sexuality and it's why teen pregnancy rates and STIs are still an issue. Too much pushing abstinence and ignorance over education.

by Anonymousreply 39January 7, 2022 1:11 PM

R32, Billie should not have been watching hard-core porn at 11.

by Anonymousreply 40January 7, 2022 7:32 PM

if I recall didn't the wave of hetero anal and rimming become popular as a loophole to promise rings and chastity pledges rather than porn exposure in the mid 2000s?

by Anonymousreply 41January 7, 2022 7:42 PM

r40 did someone send her goatse or lemon party?

by Anonymousreply 42January 7, 2022 7:44 PM

Eilish is about as dumb as a box of hair. Makes a lot of sense to go on that pig Stern's show and talk about how damaging porn was for her. Stern will turn that into a joke when her career dies in about a year.
