Don’t know about Tyler Posey but queer baiting is a thing in entertainment industry in US these days. Almost all male co stars during film promos have intense bromances. And not only when they are promoting same sex themed movie. Of course, Cmbyn promo made some poor middle aged ladies nuts about the "wild romance" between two co-stars, while one of them was keeping a harem of female sex slaves all the time. But action films co stars are flirtatious during promos. Even the little boys from It chapter one had a bromance.
