Agree in full, also there are some stylings of the bear community that are super weird, the military stuff (dog tags, all the camo 🙄) and then the kind of anti-fashion slogan tees / teenage straight boy things, which I think are done in a way to separate them from their (fairly stereotypical tbh) beliefs about what your average gay man wears.
