In the piece on Rocco , Madonna's artistically gifted son, a commentor on the article mentioned that Pierce Brosnan's son is also a success in the world of painting.

Liza Minelli, Lorna Luft, Jeff Bridges, Beau Bridges, Tracee Ellis-Ross, Evan Ross, Nancy Sinatra, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Stiller, Jakob Dylan, Tatum O'Neal, Nicolas Cage, Sofia Coppola, Carrie Fisher, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jake Gyllenhaal, Billie Lourd, Ben Dreyfuss, Harry, Dreyfuss, Jane Fonda, Peter Fonda, Troy Garity, ... Gen X didn't start it.

I mean, if I’m not mistaken, it was Mary Pickford who helped her sister Lottie and her brother Jack into Hollywood when she became huge. They were already acting but Mary’s name landed them roles.

And Jack Pickford was probably the first bad boy / wild child of Hollywood. His marriage with Olive Thomas was big and her death scandal was even bigger.

So everything that happens in Hollywood today is old old old. Look at Eva Tanguay and the publicity stunts she used to pull for attention back in the 1910’s.
