I thought Rex was great in this role. It was very subtle how his toxicity crept out of him. But I felt like this role probably wasn’t much of a stretch for him.

I've seen a lot of the award nominated films in the past month but his is still the performance and character that has stayed in my mind.

It really is an unforgettable performance. I'm not saying he's Laurence Olivier, but those manic desperately persuasive monologues in the first act had a lot of nuance.
