AOC defines threats to Democratic re-election
"It is actually delusional to believe Dems can get re-elected without acting on filibuster or student debt, Biden breaking his BBB promise, letting CTC lapse, 0 path to citizenship, etc
#2: Esp when they run from convos abt race+culture
People want to “but Manchin” everyone to death, but learned helplessness is not a disposition that inspires confidence or support.
The President has tools at his disposal. Leadership has tools at their disposal. If it really is just 1-2 votes, Senate should force a vote on BBB
#3: To secure votes for the Bipar Infra Bill, Biden *himself* came to House Progressives & told us was putting his credibility on the line to deliver BBB if CPC voted BIF.
They trusted him. I didn’t think he could promise the Senate. He promised anyway. It’s time for him to deliver.

I think she's sincere in her policies. I think she also knows better than to feed to feed the drama of squabbling, disarrayed Democrats and she knowingly chooses to do it. Perhaps she thinks she needs to burn the house down to reach nirvana. But in feeding the narrative it isn't helpful, it isn't going to happen on terms that will satisfy her, and she joins the ranks of stunt politicians like Gym Jordan - more noise than accomplishment. These things are usually done behind closed doors but Dems are always doing it in public and her approach is one of the reasons why. She's not helping.

A thief doesn't have to steal from everyone, so no yapping about it was just one co-worker. She only has to do it once.

Pretty hilarious for her to bitch about Biden not doing anything while she hasn't really done shit... other than bitch... either. She's part of the Dem problem.

1/6 was most decidedly NOT about "convos abt race+culture." This muppet will not be satisfied until she's destroyed any chance of an election-winning Dem coalition and handed the country over to the far right.

2022 is shaping up to be 2010 all over again and look where that got us. Democrats never learn. Don't vote. Stay at home. Let republicans win. See how much you'll get from them.
You know, you try to be a good person and care about your fellow citizens, but I'm just tired. You don't want a vaccine, don't get a vaccine. Die. I don't care. You don't like Joe Biden, so you're gonna stay at home to send a message. But who are you really hurting? Not Joe Biden. Joe's gonna be just fine. Democrats... carry on with your nonsense. Just hand it all over to them.

The Democrats need to learn how to use fear and hate to win over these backwater clowns in the south/Midwest. Their limited animal minds can’t handle progressive thought.

R24, I'm with you here, but with some nuance. There is a real danger that republicans regain the WH in 24. With that they'll shift the supreme court too far right even more. And I hate that Republicans are anti science (see antivax), do I don't want them anywhere closer to a position of power.
But I'm hating the woke culture that Dems are encouraging and amplifying. Making white people the source of all evil is a narrative that's both a lie and something I will not support. The left had lost touched with reality too.
So yeah, we have a problem. I don't want the republicans, but I'm not into democrats either. I likely won't vote.

Oh, it's an absolute certainty at the moment, R26. If we (Dems) keep up this (inauthentic and completely cringeworthy) woke bullshit, Trump will win. There is no question.
But it's a cop out to not vote, frankly, even defensively. I've held my nose and voted for the lesser of two shitheads before, and I'll likely have to do it again.

Kamala isn't exactly helping the Democratic cause this morning:
Kamala Harris, the US vice-president, has conceded that the Biden administration was blind to the emergence of the Delta and Omicron variants of Covid-19, and said she fears “misinformation” over vaccines will prolong the pandemic well into a third year. The vice-president’s candid admission came in a wide-ranging interview with the Los Angeles Times

Kamala must have been high or something in that interview. She also said the administration never saw Delta or Omicrom coming. What she presumably meant was on the scale, but WTF?
Say what you will she is total shit at media relations and like it or not that is a big part of the job. Put her safely on the Court but get her out of the way.

If you don't want Republicans to gain power, then get on the democrats back to make them do stuff for the American people. Pass some substantial bills that will improve their situations.
If they don't want to do school loan debt, then fight to increase the minimum wage.
You can't just not do anything substantial and then expect people to vote for you.
Yes, Biden improved out situation with COVID (although that seems to be going back to a mess again) and got us out of Afghanistan. But there needs to be more.
It's not rocket science.
And I hope you're incredibly thankful R24 if that's really your main concern right now. Because most people aren't so fortunate. Most people are fighting to keep a roof over their heads and keep food on the table. And yes, they voted democrat. And they need help.
They're not even remotely thinking about Dump right now.
