I'm bored and want to watch something like that tonight.
What movies have great broads in great performances?

All About Eve, anything with Barbara Stanwyk, mid-career Liz Taylor (most bad but always fun), mid-career Ava Gardner, anything with Thelma Ritter

I just saw Letter to Three Wives last night after reading about it for years here. What a great movie, and what was with those spooky chants the first two wives got (and why not the third?)?

Not really a great performance but Joan Crawford in Female On The Beach is a real "broad".

Ms. Jean Brodie was not a broad. She was something else.

Can a femme fatale be a broad? And vice versa?

They had to cut chunks out of the movie because Manckiewicz liked actors gabbing ad nauseam. There were originally Four Wives but the movie would've been as long as his 'Cleopatra'.

Joan Blondell in Nightmare Alley
