Which of these three amigos has the best filmography ?

Guillermo del Toro

Pan's Labyrinth , The Shape of Water, The Devil's Backbone, Hellboy,

Alejandro González Iñárritu

21 Grams (2003), Babel (2006), Biutiful (2010), Birdman (2014), and The Revenant (2015).

I'm a huge del Toro fan and can't wait to see Nightmare Alley, but overall, I give the edge to Cuaron, mainly because I thought Roma was one of the most beautiful films I've ever seen.

Roma is some kind of masterpiece.

Didn’t one of these guys do Amores Perros, that film is a masterpiece.

Anyone other than Iñárritu.

by Anonymousreply 4December 17, 2021 1:15 PM

Iñárritu did Amores Perros.

Cuarón did Y Tu Mamá También

Which one has the most Academy awards and Director’s Guild awards?

by Anonymousreply 6December 17, 2021 1:44 PM

I think Guillermo del Toro's movies have a really ugly look to them and the sea monster didn't give consent.

I’m surprised Inarritu has any votes tbh. The gays on Film Twitter HATE him.
