Billie Eilish to Pornography- “YOU ARE A DISGRACE!!!”

Billie Eilish is opening up about pornography and her sex life.

While making an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, the 19-year-old entertainer revealed that she began watching pornography at the age of 11, but now finds it a "disgrace."

“As a woman, I think porn is a disgrace. I used to watch a lot of porn, to be honest. I started watching porn when I was like 11,” Billie said. “I think it really destroyed my brain and I feel incredibly devastated that I was exposed to so much porn.”

“The first few times I, you know, had sex, I was not saying no to things that were not good. It was because I thought that’s what I was supposed to be attracted to,” Billie continued. “I’m so angry that porn is so loved, and I’m so angry at myself for thinking that it was okay. The way that vaginas look in porn is fucking crazy. No vaginas look like that. Women’s bodies don’t look like that. We don’t come like that.”

She also touched on dating as a celebrity, saying, “I’m not a serial dater … I don’t go to stuff and flirt with people. It’s really hard to meet people when people are either terrified of you or think that you’re out of their league. Last year, I thought that I’d be single for the rest of my life. I genuinely couldn’t even picture myself in a relationship of any sort,” she confessed. “I got over that pretty fast.”

Who cares what this incubus thinks!

by Anonymousreply 1December 14, 2021 9:31 PM

She's got Bette Davis eyes.

by Anonymousreply 2December 14, 2021 9:32 PM

Weirdo.

by Anonymousreply 3December 14, 2021 9:33 PM

She's not wrong. But, who was making her watch it at 11?

by Anonymousreply 4December 14, 2021 9:35 PM

It is responsible for big portion of incels....

by Anonymousreply 5December 14, 2021 9:35 PM

There is not a single creature on earth more annoying than the American Gen Z female.

by Anonymousreply 6December 14, 2021 9:36 PM

Who would want to fuck that? Straight men will fuck anything, I know. But even when she's not intentionally frumped up, she's awful.

by Anonymousreply 7December 14, 2021 9:44 PM

Does she bathe these days?

by Anonymousreply 8December 14, 2021 9:47 PM

She must be into very dark things.

by Anonymousreply 9December 14, 2021 9:49 PM

R8 Has she ever?

by Anonymousreply 10December 14, 2021 9:49 PM

Immature overrated overawarded minimally talented hack who has unfairly accrued decades worth of awards, achievements and opportunities within a span of less than five years talking about authenticity. Pot calling the kettle black.

by Anonymousreply 11December 14, 2021 9:49 PM

"The first few times I had sex, I was not saying no to things that were not good"

She's talking about fucking her brother, right?

I get a total Folgers Christmas 🎄 commerical feeling about this.

So, what does she want? A medal?

by Anonymousreply 13December 14, 2021 9:53 PM

Porn is not meant for her. It is for men. How can she not understand that?

That is her biggest problem in life? The planet is burning, fascism is coming, and yet this is what concerns her the most?

by Anonymousreply 14December 14, 2021 9:55 PM

Wh do fat fucks like Eilish and the Moonfaced OP EwwDWIN in Brooklyn hate pornography so much?

by Anonymousreply 15December 14, 2021 9:55 PM

Was that the queen that was harassing hot twink Harrison at Lowe's?

by Anonymousreply 16December 15, 2021 1:19 AM

Ok. I’ve been lenient but you’re asking for another red tagged account r16. Cut the shit. Grow up.

by Anonymousreply 17December 15, 2021 1:20 AM

R17 fuck off Moonface. R16 yep

by Anonymousreply 18December 15, 2021 1:35 AM

I don't like her but she's right, instant access to hardcore porn has fucked up sex for this generation

by Anonymousreply 19December 15, 2021 1:52 AM

She’s correct

by Anonymousreply 20December 15, 2021 1:52 AM

What does porn have to do with women???

by Anonymousreply 21December 15, 2021 1:55 AM

TMI. She could have touched on the topic without the “I started at 11” part. Puke.

by Anonymousreply 22December 15, 2021 2:52 AM

When did these kids become such anti-sex prudes? It's like they've taken on the social conservatism of the moral majority from the 80s/90s.

We need a new sexual revolution...and fast.

by Anonymousreply 23December 15, 2021 3:43 AM

r23, you've never heard of hookup culture?

It's old people, not the young, who fought against gay marriage and older people who are trying to overturn Roe v Wade

by Anonymousreply 24December 15, 2021 3:47 AM

She was watching porn at 11. Doesn't sound like a prude to me

by Anonymousreply 25December 15, 2021 3:48 AM

R24 R25 Wow, you totally missed the point.

[quote] It's old people, not the young, who fought against gay marriage and older people who are trying to overturn Roe v Wade

This has nothing to do with what I'm talking about.

by Anonymousreply 26December 15, 2021 3:51 AM

r26, actually it does. Prudish people are more likely to be anti-gay and anti-choice

by Anonymousreply 27December 15, 2021 3:54 AM

r17 is the OP pretending to be a mod. We're getting a lot more of that lately, I've noticed.

by Anonymousreply 28December 15, 2021 3:54 AM

R21, porn is made for men, but women are sexual creatures too, and when they’re young they watch it. And if you think it teaches fucked-up things to straight men, just think about what it teaches straight women.

But you’re not supposed to criticize porn in our sex-positive culture or you’re made to look like a prude. So yeah, it is good that a girl with the ear of America’s women came out and said that.

by Anonymousreply 29December 15, 2021 3:56 AM

R27 No, it doesn't. When I said 'prude', I was referring to her anti-porn mentality, which is becoming more common among Gen Z. It had nothing to do with being anti-gay or anti-choice. You folks applied that to it, not me. I'm specifically referring to her/Gen Z's anti-porn, repressed-sex kind of mentality.

by Anonymousreply 30December 15, 2021 3:57 AM

I'm assuming she was watching porn because all the other kids were, likely due to being unsupervised online.

I don't know what it was like 8 years ago because I just don't remember, but I know nowadays any time I do a search for any keyword on Twitter, hardcore porn comes up. You can't get away from it, even if you want to. For curious kids, it'll be incredibly easy to find, and they'll watch it when they're 11 without any understanding of what they're doing.

The stuff kids are exposed to is fucked up, but the only thing that's going to happen is it'll get worse and worse until a crime of some sort that involves online porn watched by little kids gets exposed and people get outraged, then suddenly it'll be impossible to find porn at all.

by Anonymousreply 31December 15, 2021 4:02 AM

R23 Because they believe and were taught everything is rape.

by Anonymousreply 32December 15, 2021 4:04 AM

The fuckwit saying that an 11-year-old kid is an "anti-sex prude" is too stupid to even acknowledge.

Saying we need a sexual revolution to fix these 11-year-old kids who don't like sex as much as they should is something I would expect a CP enthusiast to say.

Is no one else noticing the increase in really sketchy shit being posted here? Addresses of politicians posted with pleas to murder them? Some guy claiming he's posting in the middle of a meth high as he commits violent crimes? Some guy posted an underage nude kid about a week ago. Now we've got someone who is complaining that 11-year-olds don't like hot porn sex as much as they should.

This is not normal. Something super fucked up is going on around here. Probably someone with a personality disorder thinking they're being hilarious, but still.

by Anonymousreply 33December 15, 2021 4:06 AM

Billie Ellish is not 11.

by Anonymousreply 34December 15, 2021 4:18 AM

[quote] The fuckwit saying that an 11-year-old kid is an "anti-sex prude" is too stupid to even acknowledge.

R33 Jesus fucking Christ. This is exactly the opposite of what I was saying. My comments have NOTHING to do with accessing porn at 11, which she should never have been doing in the first place. I'm referring to her as an adult NOW. What a classic troll example of projecting your own bullshit onto someone else's comments and making them out to be the complete opposite of what the poster ever intended (classic Datalounge, of course). Porn is for ADULTS and ADULTS only. I never meant otherwise. You really need to a be a lot more careful of how you are lumping people and subjects together that were never intended to be so, nor were ever the intention of the poster, in this case, myself. By doing so, the only person "to stupid to acknowledge" is actually yourself. Good job.

by Anonymousreply 35December 15, 2021 4:19 AM

[quote]My comments have NOTHING to do with accessing porn at 11, which she should never have been doing in the first place. I'm referring to her as an adult NOW.

She's the way she is now as an adult because of the hardcore porn she was watching at 11.

You say we need a sexual revolution to fix her and others like her, because they're prudes, and being prudes is wrong.

This has EVERYTHING to do with her accessing porn at 11 and I'm embarrassed for you that you're doubling down on denying it.

by Anonymousreply 36December 15, 2021 4:25 AM

[quote] This has EVERYTHING to do with her accessing porn at 11 and I'm embarrassed for you that you're doubling down on denying it.

And I'm embarrassed for you that, once again, you make yourself look like a fool for projecting and name-calling onto my comments that meant nothing of the sort.

My issue is with blaming porn outright, as if it's the entire issue. The issue is much larger than that, but I don't see that nuance in these conversations being had by her generation. Access to it, and at far too young of an age, is the issue (or at least a major part of it). I don't think any reasonable person would say otherwise. But the blaming of porn itself, entirely, is concerning, because it aligns with a number of other regressive perspectives about porn/sex/sexual expression/etc. that I have seen in Gen Z (post age 18+). That's what I'm getting at.

by Anonymousreply 37December 15, 2021 4:38 AM

I’d take what she has to say with a grain of salt. She’s not very reliable and contradicts herself on sexuality. She spouts feminist ideology then does the opposite to sell records. And I take it lightly cause she’s 19.

It’s a distorted view of porn in my opinion. Saying those women aren’t real.

I just hate that mentality. I work with porn stars and her comments bashing women’s bodies at 19 years old on the Howard Stern Show, I don’t know what that has to do with her seeing it when she was younger.

by Anonymousreply 38December 15, 2021 4:50 AM

The amount and type of porn and how each person interprets it can obviously have a range of impacts - including a negative impact. Porn or too much porn can certainly be "bad" and it seems to have been for her. But, she walks us through her realizing that it influenced her negatively and then she learned from that to realize that there's sex lives beyond porn. She could have stopped there. I don't think she wholesale had to call porn disgraceful. I guess it's like someone who got sober after alcohol having negative affects on their lives - they might not have anything good to say about it. Then again, we all know plenty of ex-drinkers who can abide by other people drinking and realize it's not an issue for everyone.

by Anonymousreply 39December 15, 2021 4:58 AM

I bet Billie would endorse well-animated Hentai in small doses from time to time.

by Anonymousreply 40December 15, 2021 5:20 AM

Billie, you're damaged goods like the rest of us. What do you want? A medal?

by Anonymousreply 41December 15, 2021 5:23 AM

R28 OP the tik tok troll moonfaced EwwDWIN thinks he has Muriel in his back pocket and will email her and cry and threaten to sue her if she doesn’t red tag certain members when he gets outed.

by Anonymousreply 42December 15, 2021 5:43 AM

Well it's ungratuitous information that her vag doesn't look like the one in porn.

by Anonymousreply 43December 15, 2021 5:49 AM

Well, I’ll be a brotherfucker.

by Anonymousreply 44December 15, 2021 6:03 AM

She’s a dickhead

by Anonymousreply 45December 15, 2021 6:57 AM

How does porn affect women? They’re the ones expected to have sex with these porn-addled men and boys.

by Anonymousreply 46December 15, 2021 7:07 AM

It's become clear that her brother has exposed her to pornography and has been sexually abusing her since the age of 11 or younger. Sad and disgusting.

by Anonymousreply 47December 15, 2021 7:32 AM

R46 women are the dominant sex because of it. Sexual accessibility is a man’s weakness both genders take advantage of.

by Anonymousreply 48December 15, 2021 8:01 AM

I agree with her about hetero porn. It seems like all straight porn that pops up on PornHub et al. landing pages involves infantilization, humiliation or abuse of women. They pout, whine, beg, bat their eyelashes, squeak like baby animals, beg for cum, and they're seemingly always filmed from above in demeaning positions. And tons of choking of women. I do not get it AT ALL. It always comes across to me as (best case scenarios) creepy to (often) violent and dehumanizing.

And the way men are depicted in a lot of straight porn is dehumanizing, as well, in a different way. I know there are a lot of theories/excuses as to why, but men in straight porn are almost never shown as human beings, but just as dicks penetrating women and hands 'manhandling' and choking (why?!) women. Just body parts. Very fucking weird to me.

Gay porn often has the dominant/submissive thing going on, but it seems less jarring to me because it's two or more men, whereas in most straight porn it's almost always a man or men overpowering a smaller woman.

I just can't help seeing straight porn as being made to look intentionally violent and I find it bizarre and disturbing. I've had a lot of sex with a lot of guys and only once was it arguably violent, and that was the one time I was sexually assaulted and terrified by someone who physically overpowered me. All other encounters varied in dynamics but were not humiliating in the way that seems to be a norm in straight porn.

by Anonymousreply 49December 15, 2021 8:13 AM

Straight porn is rape porn. I am sad she was exposed to it at age 11.

by Anonymousreply 50December 15, 2021 8:17 AM

She is telling the truth here.

by Anonymousreply 51December 15, 2021 8:20 AM

Basic bitches like this twat will always hate pornography (and hookers), because anything that facilitates male orgasms outside of the confines of the bourgeois pair bond serves to devalue the purchasing power of their vaginas.

by Anonymousreply 52December 15, 2021 8:30 AM

I think historically gay porn for men was incredibly important beyond being an outlet for sexual release. Prior to the late nineties and growing more important the further one goes back in time, they were not just sexually provocative images, but one of the few images accessible of what Gay men looked like, how they acted, what their lifestyle was like. There was no mainstream image of gays in media, and porn also showed how men how to express intimacy and interact sexually and were the first images of that which most of us saw.

And yes, there were harmful or prescriptive things in it that negatively shaped gay culture, case in point that gay porn actors were very much regulated in to roles of being a top or a bottom and rarely crossed that boundary. The legacy of that is still so heavily weighted down to this day, I think most gay people tend to be versatile and always have been, and I appreciate porn looking more realistic now with actors flipping back and forth between those roles instead of locked into one or the other. Especially in the last year there have been more hyper masculine tops who have been bottoming a lot and even expressing pleasure in doing so.

This is only a kernel of an idea, but what I’m trying to say is that porn of the 20th century served a very different role then porn of the 21st century and it has always served a very different role for Gay people versus straight people and still does, though most likely it is aligning more similar as time goes forward.

by Anonymousreply 53December 15, 2021 8:48 AM

Gay porn is totally different from straight porn.

by Anonymousreply 54December 15, 2021 9:13 AM

There is a growing trend for asexual and aromantic amongst Z-gen ( in social media at least ) so she just a part of the " i dont like sex" youth movement.

Or this just a preview for a future transition announcement.

by Anonymousreply 55December 15, 2021 9:29 AM

Remember, she is being interviewed by Howard Stern. He's the one obsessed with porn. I doubt if Billie Eilish brought up the subject herself.

by Anonymousreply 56December 15, 2021 9:31 AM

She's pretty fat these days. I suspect she was sexually abused.

by Anonymousreply 57December 15, 2021 9:36 AM

Why does so much straight porn involve the humiliation of women? I think a lot of straight men just despise women. Mommy issues? Control issues? Wanting to dominate in some twisted will-to-power id scenario?

by Anonymousreply 58December 15, 2021 9:38 AM

R52: I doubt 20-year-old Elish (who is rich, wildly successful, and has her pick of partners should she want one) is giving much thought to the "bourgeois pair bond."

by Anonymousreply 59December 15, 2021 10:00 AM

R58 all of the above.

by Anonymousreply 60December 15, 2021 10:01 AM

That's just standard MRA talk, r59. I've never understood why the MRAs hang around DL, but they have for a long time now.

by Anonymousreply 61December 15, 2021 10:03 AM

Is she fat, or just overly busty? She dresses like those girls with a large chest and they are trying to hide it, which includes hiding their waistline so the size difference is less obvious. She probably is waiting to finish developing so she can get breast reduction.

by Anonymousreply 62December 15, 2021 10:18 AM

Frau here, I was exposed to porn at a very young age (not my choice, ofc) and it has definitely affected me negatively

by Anonymousreply 63December 15, 2021 10:30 AM

At least in gay porn, the participants are enjoying themselves enough to come for real. There are zero female orgasms in straight porn

by Anonymousreply 64December 15, 2021 10:33 AM

Nah, there's definitely humiliation element to gay porn, even if the participants are cumming. That's why the most popular models tend to be "straight" guys doing it for the money, or bottoms willing to completely degrade themselves.

by Anonymousreply 65December 15, 2021 10:41 AM

R65 I agree, many posters here are in denial. Gay porn isn't much better than straight.

by Anonymousreply 66December 15, 2021 10:46 AM

I'm gay, and I think porn has affected me negatively. Gays who are fanatically pro-porn are bizarre to me. You can criticize your relationship with things you enjoy. For instance, I love junk food, but it certainly can have a negative impact on me.

by Anonymousreply 67December 15, 2021 10:50 AM

R67 Effected* Sorry, typo lol

by Anonymousreply 68December 15, 2021 10:51 AM

Gay porn is definitely filled with its share of vile bullshit.

by Anonymousreply 69December 15, 2021 11:00 AM

I hear plenty of gay and bisexual men say porn is horrible and has negatively impacted them. It’s not a good thing

by Anonymousreply 70December 15, 2021 11:32 AM

It’s a huge generational shift that gets hand waved away. Never before have so many people been exposed to so much hardcore porn. Playboy, this ain’t. But if you have any questions about the effect it could possibly be having on society, you’re painted as an anti-sex prude.

by Anonymousreply 71December 15, 2021 11:39 AM

A lot of self-identified “sex positives” are STD-riddled sex pests. Not people I look to for moral Direction.

by Anonymousreply 72December 15, 2021 11:41 AM

R71 The sex-positive cult won't tolerate any questioning of porn and basically glamorizes those with sex and porn addictions.

by Anonymousreply 73December 15, 2021 11:42 AM

She telling us her shite doesn't stink. But it does.

by Anonymousreply 74December 15, 2021 11:45 AM

I have a female friend who only dates older guys because they didn’t grow up on porn.

by Anonymousreply 75December 15, 2021 11:47 AM

Interesting that she doesn't blame her parents for not protecting her from the exposure to porn when she was eleven years old.

Porn is supposed to be for mature adults only who, for the most part, can handle pornography. Blaming porn for your problems is rather pointless, because one's issue with porn is only a symptom of a deeper issue (low self-esteem, warped view of intimacy / romance / relationships, childhood upbringing where the topic of sex was demonized or a taboo, etc.).

by Anonymousreply 76December 15, 2021 11:54 AM

R76 The porn industry actively lobbies to prevent age verification. They want kids to access the sites. It's all traffic and money in their pocket.

by Anonymousreply 77December 15, 2021 12:00 PM

r77, the porn industry isn't tasked to protect children from porn. That's the parents' job. They have to ensure that their kids understand that they are not supposed to watch porn, since they don't have the mental capacity to understand what is going on.

Parental control features exist for a reason. A parent's job isn't just to make sure to block children's' access to porn, but also to make them understand why they are not supposed to watch it. And that is where most parents fail. Either they have issues with sex themselves, or they are just too embarrassed and leave their kids alone with all these questions about this tempting forbidden fruit that is porn.

Education should be paramount. But that would lead to educated children who grow into educated adults. And our snake oil salesmen driven society can't have that.

by Anonymousreply 78December 15, 2021 12:13 PM

🤢🤮 Why the fuck do I need to wake up to a media discussion of this fugly talentless nonentity’s porn watching habits?

by Anonymousreply 79December 15, 2021 12:16 PM

R78 Bull. Drinking establishments, cigarette vendors, strip clubs etc. are all tasked with protecting kids from their product. If those industries have the responsibility to protect kids, why not porn? It's a nonsensical double standard. All porn sites should require a form of age verification to access them, just like being carded at a club.

by Anonymousreply 80December 15, 2021 12:18 PM

There’s no way to control children’s access to porn. Get real, R78.

by Anonymousreply 81December 15, 2021 12:22 PM

I for one applaud her. She is ushering the evolution of humanity. In order for us to evolve we must become a post-sex society. People are so obsessed with send these days whether it be gay or straight. It’s such a carnal primal instinct humans fixate and obsess over like animals. Society must free itself from this obsession and focus on the arts and humanities. I hope this new generation ushers in sex-negativity.

by Anonymousreply 82December 15, 2021 12:32 PM

[quote] [R78] Bull. Drinking establishments, cigarette vendors, strip clubs etc. are all tasked with protecting kids from their product.

And they do the minimum required. Banners and pop ups telling children to fuck off and not watch. Children do it anyway. Some goes for drinking, smoking, and using fake IDs to get into clubs.

[quote] There’s no way to control children’s access to porn.

But that isn't porn's fault, is it?

Children make mistakes. We may want it, but we can't childproof the whole world. The only solution is to educate, because banning porn, cigarettes, and alcohol will never happen.

by Anonymousreply 83December 15, 2021 12:33 PM

Correction typo: obsessed with sex^^^

by Anonymousreply 84December 15, 2021 12:33 PM

R83 Those sectors of the economy require a valid ID to access their product? Why not porn?

by Anonymousreply 85December 15, 2021 12:39 PM

r85, did you miss the part where children use FAKE IDs or steal their parents' credit card information to gain access?

by Anonymousreply 86December 15, 2021 12:41 PM

A face unclouded by thought.

by Anonymousreply 87December 15, 2021 12:42 PM

R86 Your point? It doesn't have to be perfect. I promise you there are far fewer minors at strip clubs because of ID requirements than if we didn't require them at all and allowed anyone to walk in.

So, I'll ask again, why should we not mandate ID requirements for porn sites like we do with other sectors of the economy?

by Anonymousreply 88December 15, 2021 12:43 PM

Porn is not for the weak-minded. As someone as insecure as Billie Eilish, of course she'd be triggered by it. She's so insecure, she wears baggy clothes on purpose to avoid people looking at her body figure and "sexualize" her. If you don't have a thick skin, it's easy to feel depressed when watching porn, because you automatically compare yourself to the people in the video. If you don't have enough confidence, DON'T WATCH IT!

About her comment that "porn is not real," duh! That's the whole purpose of pornography. It is supposed to be a fantasy. That is why fetishes and categories of porn exist. Some people might not feel comfortable enough to do them in real life even though they like it, but porn is a way to satisfy this need or fetish. We all know that porn is 100% staged. It's like a sci-fi movie. We all know it's fake, but we watch it not only because we enjoy it, but because we hope that could be real. Same with porn. Cry us a river, Billie.

by Anonymousreply 89December 15, 2021 12:49 PM

Porn can be negative. It’s caused me to only get off from jerking off. It’s even hard to cum other ways during sex. Sometimes I can’t get hard unless there’s porn in the background. On the flip side I can just jerk off when the need arises and not need a bf or sex partner. More efficient and safe.

by Anonymousreply 90December 15, 2021 12:49 PM

her videos are pornography, what a screechy bitch

by Anonymousreply 91December 15, 2021 12:50 PM

[quote] So, I'll ask again, why should we not mandate ID requirements for porn sites like we do with other sectors of the economy?

Because that would create a database that could be hacked and expose lots and lots of hypocrites on your side.

by Anonymousreply 92December 15, 2021 1:00 PM

[quote] Under the new law, online porn sites are threatened with a fine of £250,000 ($335,000) or 5 percent of their annual profits if they are caught failing to verify the age of any of their users. Various options for confirming the age of their visitors are being considered. They could ask credit card companies to validate birthdates, for example, or contract with a third-party company to follow an individual’s social-media feed and determine his or her age from that information. Phone companies could be asked to create a text-verification process using birthdates, or porn companies could require users to upload ID cards or passports.

[quote] But here’s what worries cybersecurity experts: All these options would create a permanent record indicating that a user had visited a porn site. They could possibly even record the porn that the visitor had watched.

[quote] Matt Tait, a cybersecurity expert formerly of the GCHQ (the United Kingdom’s equivalent of the National Security Agency) who now teaches at the University of Texas, notes that any registration system could be a “monumental national security risk.” He adds, “It’s beyond insane they’re even considering it.”

R92 That's a risk for any digital platform. Our private DM messages can be leaked, Amazon can be hacked and leak our credit card information. That's a risk we take on all the time. If you want to access digital adult entertainment, you should be required to provide a valid ID, just like a brick-and-mortar adult entertainment establishment.

BTW, I'm not a hypocrite at all. I like porn and watching it. I just think age/id verification should be mandated as we do with strip clubs etc.

by Anonymousreply 94December 15, 2021 1:04 PM

She's not immature, she's 19, way more talented than most divas worshipped here. She actually wrote a decent song at 12, please show me any diva that did that.

As for watching porn at 11, most healthy people who didn't have a 1950s castrating mother would have watched porn at an early age.

by Anonymousreply 95December 15, 2021 1:05 PM

[quote] I just think age/id verification should be mandated as we do with strip clubs etc.

r94, and once again you seem to think that it will fix the problem. But it won't, because children will find a way around that by using fake IDs.

by Anonymousreply 96December 15, 2021 1:06 PM

R93 What a hysterical piece of porn industry propaganda. Google, Facebook, Twitter etc. already know and log what you watch on their site, including the porn. They can even tell what you're doing on third-party sites when you log off. Making a porn site require a valid ID does not require them to document what videos you're watching either. That article is an embarassment.

by Anonymousreply 97December 15, 2021 1:08 PM

All this will do is parents being accused of watching porn, because their precious offspring stole their IDs and used it to access porn.

Great plan.*two thumbs up*

by Anonymousreply 98December 15, 2021 1:09 PM

R96 Solutions don't have to be foolproof. They just have to reduce harm to be useful. You're making a case against the very concept of regulation and law with what you're saying because every law and regulation can be gamed, so I guess we should just not have them? You sound stupid. Should we abolish ID requirements for strip clubs and cigarettes?

Only if you're an idiot. There are many extensions for firefox and entire browsers like Brave that prevents all of this from happening.

by Anonymousreply 102December 15, 2021 1:12 PM

Aside from still pictures I'm so glad that I was not exposed to porno films as a child/teenager. Porn is made for adults and it is fucking up some children/teenagers who watch it.

I own a number of porn films on DVD and watch a little bit on the internet but as an adult I really don't see any negative impacts for me.

by Anonymousreply 103December 15, 2021 1:13 PM

R105 Making it more challenging for children to access porn sites does help. It reduces the likelihood they will be successful. And it's not an either/or. Education and ID checks are both useful. I actually think 'education' is the least effective method.

Porn affects women a lot more negatively than it affects men. Perhaps straight porn isn't watched in high amounts by DL, but I don't think some of you understand the kind of violent rape fantasies that have become so ingrained in the minds of young straight men (from the age of 11 and even younger), and subsequently the women that feel they have to put up with it because it is so normalised and expected as part of the deal.

I'm gay, I watch porn every day, and I can't stand Billie Eilish and her music. But perhaps some of you need to realise that not everybody shares the same experiences with porn and sex that you do.

by Anonymousreply 132December 15, 2021 2:02 PM

Who fucks her? Straight Porn gets more and more extreme. Soon the next thing will be chopping of a limb in the midst of an orgasm.

by Anonymousreply 134December 15, 2021 3:13 PM

by Anonymousreply 135December 15, 2021 3:16 PM

This is her parents' fault if she had access to porn at so young of an age.

by Anonymousreply 136December 15, 2021 3:18 PM

What a nasty, dull, leaden cunt.

by Anonymousreply 137December 15, 2021 3:20 PM

Is that why she always looks so miserable and dead in the eyes? Not that she’s wrong. Straight porn is disgusting and brutal.

by Anonymousreply 138December 15, 2021 3:23 PM

[quote]I was shocked to find out she doesn't write here own music but its her brother who does

That's not even remotely true. You don't know what you're talking about. She wrote many of her songs by herself, you're just ignorant in what entails writing a song. Her brother's role is more of a producer, just look at his average solo career.

You're probably sexist too, which here is dime a dozen. Effeminate gay men hate women.

Pornography is for adults, not 11 year olds. Blame your parents. NEXT!

by Anonymousreply 149December 15, 2021 3:54 PM

She’s not saying anything women don’t know.

Straight porn is really extreme. Men tend to be more visual than women, and they imprint easily on straight porn. There’s a lot of straight porn that is about slapping, choking and beating women, which is presented as normal and cool, and any women who don’t want to be beaten during sex are depicted as “prudes.” Not everyone wants to endure a beating to get sex. I think that’s why a lot of younger people, especially women and girls, describe themselves as asexual. If your choices are either to be beaten and get sex, or not be beaten and don’t get sex, and you’re a virgin teenager watching porn and think porn is an accurate representation of sex, you’re basically being brainwashed to hate sex. And boys are being brainwashed to become woman beaters to prove they’re “manly” like the guys in the porn.

I had an ex who had old European porn magazines from the 1970s. It was all storylines of some guy meeting some woman or a group, and they mutually decided to have sex or an orgy. No one was being beaten or roughed up, it was all consensual sex. My dad collected Playboys in that era, and I saw them much younger than Eilish. They were all glamour shots of very pretty women with big fake boobs, airbrushed to perfection. Nothing bad there, nothing negative or traumatic. But that was long before Eilish’s childhood. It’s gotten a lot worse since then.

Porn producers have decided to change the entire standard of what sex is, for profit. People are turned off by sex and porn because the porn is ugly and violent. If someone was making sex positive straight porn, kids could see it younger and not be traumatized by it. But they’re making incest porn, bondage, degrading porn, they’re normalizing face slapping, spanking and choking. In real life, abusers who choke their victims are much more likely to kill them. Battered women’s shelters say a woman who is choked even once is much more likely to be murdered. And porn is teaching young women that choking is “normal” and something they have to pretend to enjoy if they want to be in a relationship. So a lot of younger women have decided they can pass on sexual relationships. Younger women and girls have been exposed to more violent porn, that’s why they’re less sexual. The people in straight porn who are getting beaten are almost always women. And aggressive behavior begets other aggressive behavior, so it’s possible all these incels with guns are actually being inspired by porn’s “my way or the highway” attitude towards sex and dominating women.

About her saying that women don’t look like that, porn actresses have all had hue boob jobs, they have butt implants sometimes, they’ve had their noses redone. Other than the implants, they’re very thin. It’s not normal for a woman to have huge boobs and be skinny everywhere else. Fat doesn’t go to one place only. They’re making an unrealistic standard nobody without plastic surgery can live up to. Girls see that and try to starve themselves, or get called fat by boys, but they can’t be both skinny in one place and fat in another at the same time. Boobs are pure fat.

Eilish plainly covers herself because of the gawking her boobs get. That’s sad, she has a good figure and she covers herself out of fear of ridicule or staring. People these days get a thrill out of picking people’s looks apart. Another consequence of the internet age, you can rip people apart anonymously and never get called out on it.

That’s an unflattering picture, R151, but yes, she has a good figure. Look at her abs. She has a little bit of extra weight in her stomach, but it’s her boobs that make her look fat. Look at her knees. They’re thin, there’s not a lot of visible flabbiness or cellulite. That’s not sloppy fat, that’s her natural figure. She has a stocky build.

Think of her dressed in one one those WandaVision dresses with the full skirt and small waist. There’s nothing about her figure that’s unnatural, she’s just got big boobs and hips. She dresses horribly to minimize her looks.

I am opposed to having to access porn via a real ID. It's not the NSA or the police's business what I watch on my own device. In this case, "protect the children!" seems to be a vehicle. Parents have responsibility for their children (and I am saying this as a parent) . Also, there are some things you cannot control. That's life. I'm willing to accept that in exchange for the freedom of not being under absolute surveillance twenty-four-seven. Watching porn all day might distort your world view, but then, porn needn't have that effect. For my part: porn made me more tolerant and led me to explore. I definitely enjoy sex a lot more than I did when I was younger. Anyway, it's not not the web site's fault for being there, just as it wouldn't be your parents' car's fault if you stole it. You shouldn't not watch porn all day age 11, and you knew it wasn't made for you. GenZ is just looking for a scapegoat.

by Anonymousreply 160December 15, 2021 4:29 PM

by Anonymousreply 173December 16, 2021 5:08 PM

R164, porn thirty years ago was radically different than porn today. Older porn usually shows consenting adults having a good time. It’s not as cruel, frankly.

A lot of straight porn today is just really mean and degrading towards women. And parents have decided they’d rather have porn teach their kids about what is normal sex because they don’t want to discuss it. And porn manufacturers have learned the same thing websites have learned: create a freakish product, people will come and gawk like it’s a train wreck.

If a thirty year old with actual sexual experience is looking, they know what’s realistic. Eleven year olds learn all about sex from porn, their lying friends and older sibs, and nothing else. If some guy in a porn is yanking a woman around by her hair and slapping her face, that’s macho to them, what a real man does. Sex education should never have been left in a for-profit industry’s hands.
